This aquarium surpassed all expectations; it would fit in within Florida's SeaWorld in fact! The prices were perfectly reasonable and the array of sea creatures almost unfathomable! The staff are also extremely kind and helpful! Well worth the trip.

Very well done aquarium. A wide variety of life, and well organized. Quite crowded though. Most of the descriptions were in English, but the videos were not.

We have visited La Rochelle several times but never the Aquarium. We decided to have a look and what a place! It is beautifully designed leading you from one tank to another full of interesting sea creatures. In one afternoon you can travel from the cold Atlantic waters to the warm waters off Australia and a like. OK the sharks... More

On a quick visit to La Rochelle, with only a couple of hours to spare, I was determined to track down the Aquarium. I was not disappointed. The layout of the modern Aquarium was divided into regions of the world, so that by following a pathway one could see different species of fish that inhabited the area. Each tank was... More

This is rated highly on trip advisor but I would not recommend this for others. The aquarium was not massive and did not have the best selection of sea creatures. Nice for a day out on a rainy day but not the best

This is a superb aquarium. Lots to see and much to enjoy. We have been here many times and will return. One of the really nice features of the aquarium is that it is open in the evening. It's as enjoyable for adults as it is for children, but the best time to go is later in the afternoon or... More

A great couple of hours, was busy even in October......try not to go on a Saturday as lots of children, or go early or later on in the day.
