A small fee to enter, wander about through this well appointed petite museum . There are many first rate pieces, some very good second rate paintings and a great deal,of history to view. A compliment to the brandy tours. Go first or last but go if you can

It has a small but interesting collection of artifacts and paintings though none of them are top notch. Staff are friendly and approachable. Excellent views over the park from the upstairs windows. Worth a visit on a rainy afternoon. It is in fact only open in the afternoon; the standard entrance fee on the day we went was 5€.

This is a fantastic museum and complements any brandy tour you may wish to go on. If you go here first of all you will learn all about the brandy making process. There are headsets that translate any videos you may see as soon as you walk in close proximity to them. The museum is very well laid out although... More

Helpful and knowledgeable staff helped a short trip around a well laid out museum which covered all periods and ages, and plenty to keep kids happy also. Very near to the back of the market so no excuse to go !

This was a very pleasant building with ancient bits and pieces in display cabinets on the ground floor, but when you go upstairs there is a delightful collection of paintings from the 16th century to the 20th century. Certainly worthwhile.

In a spectacular site in the middle of the old town, this museum takes you from the wines to the marketing of Cognac all over the world. Fascinating product and very well designed museum.

This is a small museum with a smattering of everything from Neolithic flakes, stone tools, bronze age implements to pottery, Lalique and Gallé vases to a wide range of paintings from different periods, to some modern art. There are a few pieces which catch the eye but there many much that are not the best examples of their genre. Worth... More

A good value and interesting museum as others have noted and the headsets that automatically translate videos are brilliant. However many exhibits especially the videos, seem to start in the middle of the cognac making process without setting the scene sufficiently for the untutored to get the whole picture. The final video does a better job of this and might... More

This museum is a real bargain, and a must if you wan to learn more about the process if making and selling cognac. Entrance to the, we'll designed stylish museum is just over €4, you are provided with a set of head phones that automatically translate any film from French to English.
