Really enjoyed the historic part of the tour. With only that, it would have been enough. But, tasting Cordon Blue and othersade the trip better. Good guide with lot's of information and can deliver answers to all stupid questions

We just managed a tour at the end of the season - we still had to book. Very interesting and the guide was extremely knowledgeable. We got a BOGOF for a single tasting so it cost us only €12 instead of €24. A bargain. Make sure you ask at your hotel! (Or maybe tourist info?) The double tasting (you taste... More

Having travelled 80 miles to visit this attraction we were disapointed the moment we got to the gatehouse. The security guard had not got a clue about tours or car parking so we drove in and turned around to go find a public car park. We walked back to the factory to be told "Follow the path". Once we got... More

You have to do at least one of the cognac tour if you are in Cognac :) The tour was very informative and our guide was very professional and patient, despite the fact that one gentleman behaved in a very annoying way. There are two options - the cheaper one includes tasting of cognac vsop and the other one includes... More

We booked the tour through the Tourist Information Office in the town as they had all the available ones to hand. The tour lasted one hour and 45 mins with a good historical context as to how the brand came to Cognac. A good tour around the brewing processes with plenty of time for questions. The guide was very informative... More

We did not have reservations but could get in for a tour at the end of the day. The lobby and tasting area with retail shop were handsome. There are not adequate women's restrooms very apparent when the tour busses arrive or are about to leave. There's a line of a dozen women--simply unacceptable. Our English-speaking guide was quick to... More

Stopped in at the Martell House; browsed the lobby. They have a great display of cognac bottles, antique wine presses and storage barrels in the lobby. We didn't take a tour. A tasting of the Martell Cognacs was available at an additional cost. The facility had all sorts of items for sale in the gift shop. The outside of the... More

Boring tour. Tasting ok but you had to pay an extra 6 euros to try the other cognac (otherwise you got the basic stuff) and get a macaroon! Guide was a bit robotic .

I have toured a few of the Cognac houses, and the Martell tour compares well compared to the others. A Cognac house tour is well worth it if you are in the area, the Martell tour is very convenient as it is at the entrance to the Cognac town centre, is easily bookable online or on the phone and there...
