You will also be able to discover wine in a wine-dedicated space.

“Really friendly informative”

We missed the tour, but the girls in the shop were really good about letting us taste anyway and told us all about how the sparkling wines are made. “A nice tour & tasting!”

I did like the wines here and the tour in the cave. I recommend that you stop here for a bit there was no charge for the tasting/tour. Dress warmly as it was very cold in the caves. We bought 2 bottles of sparkling wine to bring with us on our trip.

“Repeat visits no hardship!”

We've been here several times, including 'Boxing Day' 2011, when we had the place to ourselves but still with an English spoken tour guide. Our guide was informative, interesting, and made the tour fun. We also enjoyed the tasting. They have a variety of sparkling wine styles, so there will be something for any taste.

“Beautiful Wine”

Visited and purchased some wine in 2011, so it was a must to return this year. We were not disappointed, the sparkling wine was just as and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, definately well worth a visit where you can buy some lovely sparkling wine.

An interesting tour of the wine cellars and tasting session. Staff were very friendly and helpful. What a great insight into the production of wine in the Loire Valley!

“Gem in Saumur”

We were given coupons for free tasting at the castle and had to check it out. We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. The sparkling wines were all excellent! Our hostess was very knowledgeable and a delight to talk with. Her English was excellent. Definitely worth the trip. Didn't take the tour, but we've seen plenty of caves so... More
