Not a wonderful entrance and it is easy to walk on by but once inside a treasure trove of old printing machinery. Guide speaks a little English but enjoyed jokes about English contributions to the design of presses. The guide gives practical demonstrations on many of the machines and this makes it very clear. He is obviously a skilled printer.... More

Very interesting, but a tour is a must. Very small, but the staff are knowledgeable. Don't know if they can do English tours.

This was hands down the best attraction I had visited in Nantes. The museum goes a little bit into the history of paper, then proceeds to showcase various printing machines. If you have a passable understanding of French, I implore you to join the guided tour with demonstrations, which run at 2.30pm every day the museum is open. For hours,... More

All sorts of printing machines, which for the most part, are in operation. Examples of lithographs, typesetting machines, up to early photocomposition. Unusual things such as the moulds for biscuits (Nantes is famous for Petit Beurre and others). Very forthcoming and friendly museum staff.
