We have visited several passages in other French cities but this one is unique because it is much lighter and brighter than most. It also has much to see as far as sculpture and the decorated ceilings. It is located in the historic Graslin Quarter and is a point of interest on the “Green Line” walking tour of Nantes. Even... Passage Pommeraye is a beautiful and elegant 19th century shopping centre with a nice hall. It's really worth having a walk in there, even if you don't visit the shops, as its still used as a shopping centre.

This really is a notable place to visit in Nantes. The ornate architecture is evident on several levels and is fascinating. There are a range of interesting shops which are closed on a Sunday although the Passage itself is open to walk through. Shops vary from a chocolatier to shoes to decorative objects and a pleasant hour or so can... More

This shopping arcade is probably the nicest one I have visited. Its architecture is beautiful and very smart, rising for two floors and ending at the street level. It is a very lively place, with nice and interesting shops, but don’t miss some fine craftsmen’s details in the passage.

A cleverly constructed shopping arcade that rises two floors from its entrance to end up in the pedestrian tone. Well worth seeing, but don't bother to shop there.

This beautiful structure had a number of spaces being renovated for new stores when I was there in June, but it was still fun to visit, and finding it led us to a very nice shopping area in town. Definitely worth finding your way to such an interesting building.

Following the city tour led us through this beautiful arcade. It truly is a wonder with numerous boutiques throughout.

I had read about this and just happened to bump into it by accident after going to a nearby cinema. Looks like it has been renovated. It was really beautiful. On July 14,Bastille day, there were even a few stores open. It looks like there are still a number of vacant stores. But if you appreciate old historical architecture you... More
