This place is nature + technology + creativity + craftsmanship! A must see in the City of Nantes. We rode the elephant - fascinating! We rode the carousel - best ever! We want to return and see the "tree" when complete.

I have been in Nantes since one week and i can now tell with firm conviction that it is one of the most beautiful town in the world. The transport facilities allow a fluent movement in the town and a tourist can visit a large variety of place such as the cathedral, churches, castles, port, museums and benefit from the... More

Which I did and really enjoyed. I thought it was rather expensive so hence did not pay to go in and see everything. I suspect best seen when the large figures are taken out into cities around the globe so if they visit somewhere near you not to be missed

So many innovative things happening in Nantes; Galerie de Machines with its magnificent elephant and carousels and the contemporary art, architecture and installations on the green line walking route must have put this place very firmly on the tourist map. What great town planning, if only it was like this in more cities around the world! Loved every minute of... More

First there is that fabulous festival Nantes, take the journey…Viva las Vegas in Nantes, that is contemporary art influencing and placing objects across the city. What a interesting... More

A really fantastic attraction to visit in Nantes. No matter what your age is I am sure you will enjoy this. I walked from the city centre and had no issues accessing the attraction. You don't need to ride the elephant to enjoy it but I would think if you had children it would be cruel not to let them... More
