So many innovative things happening in Nantes; Galerie de Machines with its magnificent elephant and carousels and the contemporary art, architecture and installations on the green line walking route must have put this place very firmly on the tourist map. What great town planning, if only it was like this in more cities around the world! Loved every minute of... More

Romantic and full of surprises. Love it. Love every moment of my 3 days that I was there. So many things to do, so many things to explore and be part of. First there is that fabulous festival Nantes, take the journey…Viva las Vegas in Nantes, that is contemporary art influencing and placing objects across the city. What a interesting... More

A really fantastic attraction to visit in Nantes. No matter what your age is I am sure you will enjoy this. I walked from the city centre and had no issues accessing the attraction. You don't need to ride the elephant to enjoy it but I would think if you had children it would be cruel not to let them... More

Parking the car is the first step and in Nantes , it s always very complicated ; second step is to make the queue and it s a long way before reaching the attractions ; Voyage a Nantes is finally an expensive and not interesting attraction and you will spend more time waiting than enjoying . Not a good idea... More

Nantes is a small city without a lot of activities for tourists so when this "park" opened, it bring some fresh air to this city and if you stop by Nantes, you definitely have to see this huge mechanical elephant. It is just fantastic to see it moving around and you can have nice and original pictures in front of... More

We have just returned from our trip over there, and Le Carroussel des Mondes Marins was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, we were too late to do the ballad in the elephant. There is not much explanations on their website to know how this works. You need to get there before 1.30pm to be able to have the time to do everything... More

We only went to look at the elephant and didn't actually go for a ride on it but it was amazing! I honestly wasnt expecting anything of it as we had seen it at night powered off but it is so much better in motion! We were able to get our picture taken with it and then we went for... More

My husband and I spent eight euros each to tour the workshop. There were machinists giving lectures in French about the future project "the heron tree." This was followed by a film about their works, a walk on a branch prototype of "the heron tree", and because of a technical glitch with the right foot of the largest elephant in... More

I don't understand the logic: both the elephant and the marine carousel were closed for maintenance work for the entire week so we walked away with two very disappointed children. I'd recommend to the organizers to close one attraction at a time. We would love to have seen either in action. Considering the workshop was also closed, the ticket prices... More
