good way to see the city highlights

Good way to get a little tour of the city. Took about an hour. No getting off. Much cheaper than the open top bus tour which doesn't come often enough to be useful.

In about an hour you get to see many of the interesting points in town, and can then plan which places you might want to revisit.

Train leaves and arrives from the square, unfortunately the commentary is French but they do give you a book in English to read, the trip is around 40min non stop. Useful to get your bearings, around this beautiful city, but best way to see city and around is by foot.

Had bought the Nantes pass for the day so thought, why not. Tour was only available in French (other places e.g Limoges have a plug in system so you can use earphones to hear the talk in English). Tour lasted about 40 minutes. It was OK, but didn't show me anything new. Spent alot of time in traffic

I arrived in Nantes alone and this was a great way to get my bearings and see the city sites. The tour was in French, but the driver gave me a flyer with the sites written about in English. The only problem was that the descriptions were written in 2008 and really need to be updated. Most descriptions were okay,... More

Took this train at 11:00am on September 27th, had the Nantes pass so thought why not? The man running the train was very nice and spoke some english as I checked in. He handed me a printed translated commentary. I went ahead and read it in the 10 minutes I had before we left. I had already walked much of... More
