It's a huge event, and very busy but the atmosphere is superb. Lots of free events nearby and the race week is always fantastic value for money. Take your own food, it is not great and pricey which is not like the rest of France. Do your homework before you book to go, you can always get general entry tickets... More

Four/five days of ultimate motorsports. Campsite and atmosphere is splendid: 100.000 petrolheads together, respectful and talkative about their shared passion. The race is a treat, especially at night. Walk the track, it's awesome. Just beware of 'Mad Friday': stay away with your precious, it's becoming more and more a silly thing.

I'm not a Motorsports fan, but a friend of mine was racing so we went. And I really enjoyed my selves ! A few minor issues, One being some security staff.. VERY arrogant and totally not helpful at all !. the other one were the Hot dogs and Hamburgers.. Realy realy realy disgusting. we just threw them away.

As title, I visited for the 24h race, what an experience! Apart from the queuing to get into the campsite but that's expected on a race that attracts so many people. The campsites had good facilities, running water, showers etc. I would highly advise watching the race from every viewpoint possible, some great sights to be seen. The best part... More

We have been visiting le mans for the last 20 years and it is getting more and more difficult to camp and stay where we have for the past 20 years... The ACO move the goalposts every year and do not seem to care about regular patrons. I fear this may be our last year.

We visited the Le Man Museum as part of our holiday in France. Parking was excellent and free and on the day we visited, it was quiet, allowing the children to have a run round the exhibits without the fear of being told off. The story of the 24 hour race was told in a way which adult and child... More

This is an interesting museum even if you are just married to the car fan! The cars are beautiful and there are some fascinating historic vehicles. The route around was a bit confusing at times even with the Guidigo app. The app itself was a bit of a challenge to download but we were glad we did as some of... More

OK, I am a petrol head and therefore biased but I guess you won't visit the museum unless you have at least some interest in cars, and if you do I'm sure you will find something to interest you. I thought that the museum would be dedicated to the racing cars for which the city and circuit is so famous... More
