What a history!!!

This is almost exactly where Joan of Arc was burnt to death. Very unusual design and used as a regular church too. Worth the 5 or 10 minutes or so. Located on a main square.

If you are interested in The history of Joan of Arc then this church is a must. It's built on the spot she was burnt at the stake. The stained glass windows are simply breathtaking. There is a quiet spiritual and respectful silence here and in fact is quite moving.

Interesting history, but didn't really appreciate the design of the church. However, the church is located in the midst of an open air that has been occurring for centuries. Fresh vegetables and fruits, pastries, roasting chickens, chocolates and a century old mini carrousel. Delightful!

This church is built right beside the place Joan of Arc was burned. The stain glass windows are beautiful. The church is very modern. It is worth the time to visit it.

This church was built to commemorate Joan of Arc's life and death. It's architect is very unusual. The ceiling looks like the inside of a ships hull. The wood work and stained glass windows are beautiful. The outside grounds, statues and crosses are worth seeing.

Many people mistake the cross next to the Church of St. Joan of Arc as the exact spot where she was burned at the stake but a little ways away from the cross is a small plot of land with a sign in French that gives the exact spot. The old town of Rouen was one of the best visits... More

This church makes a nice break from all the nearby Gothic churches. If you like modern architecture, you will definitely like this. It beautifully incorporates 16th century stained glass with a 20th century building. I emailed the parish ahead of time, so there was someone to unlock the wheelchair accessible entrance.

The Church was built to commemorate the life and death of Joan of Arc. It was built near where she was burned as a heretic of the Church. Next to the church is a large cross shaped like a sword to mark the exact spot of her death.

When you walk up to it from the clock, it looks like a dragon. Very modern design, supposed to reflect a boat. The stained glass is rather interesting and beautiful though.
