This is a must-see church inside for its stained glass and unusual architecture. Check out the opening times as it is closed quite often. There can be noisy youngsters outside dancing to loud music which is a but distracting.

This church was built in 1979, however, the beautiful stained glass windows came from a 16th century church that was destroyed in WWII. The inside is light and airy. Outside is a pole that supposedly marks the spot where Joan of Arc was burned.

Outstanding, could spend hours here. A very spiritual visit adjacent to where to where the Saint met her demise.

This spiritual offering to the soul of Jeanne d'Arc is a beautiful place to find a peaceful moment to reflect on pure strength of character - Jeanne had it to spare, which is why they could not abide her.

Church was built in 1979 in the Center of the old market. It was intentionally built as a low-slung church because they wanted people to be able to enjoy the priceless stained glass windows. That is not possible in older churches since all windows soar above the congregation. The church marks the exact spot where she was burned alive for... More

A magnificent tribute to the local heroine - and a startling contrast to the surrounding medieval (mostly faux) buildings surrounding it. The cross adds drama to a drink in one of the square's cafes.

In the Church of St. Joan of Arc, after visiting the site of her burning at the stake, pay a visit into the church, although not a great deal to do once you get inside, it is the only place to really see the beautiful stained glass windows that adorn the church.

Took my breath away. I just had to stand and admire.mit is designed to resemble the flames that burned Jeanne D'Arc. The stained glass window is just superb. Pop group OMD used it for the cover of one of their albums.

Well of course it's up to the people of Rouen to decide what they want to have in the middle of their most historic square, but if I was one of them I would be voting for its demolition and the installation of the stained glass in a much smaller and more appropriate memorial to Joan. This building is frankly... More

New contemporary architecture and old windows from ruined old church. The effect is amassing. There is very convenient car parking right near this church.
