The church looks quite modern, compared to other European churches, I didn't go inside, but the thing that intrigued me the most was, in the garden at the side of the church is Joan of Arc's execution site. Her story is quite moving and she was fearless to the end.

Beautiful church, modern not what you would expect. it's shaped like a fish and is full of stained glass from floor to ceiling. Outside a lovely garden and a statue of Joan. The surrounding sites are just lovely. it's right beside an outdoor market too with cheeses, fruit, veg and fish and meats . Very nice!!

The building itself is not pretty, there is a small plaque outside on the spot where Joan was burned at the stake, that is the only thing worth seeing really.

The church is a modern replacement for an older church (St Vincent's, I think). The old church as destroyed in WWII. The new church is a nice building. Its highlight is a fantastic re-setting of the old windows. They are now a ground level, where you can see them! It makes for a pleasant place to sit and contemplate when... More

Such a lovely, modern church with nods to the past. I am a huge fan of Joan of Arc and the statue within this church is my very favorite. There are also beautiful stained glass windows, which originally hung in a different French church, but after they were saved during WWII were brought here. I was lucky to visit on... More

If you are not prepared by knowing about the very old glass windows, about the why and how of this church, build more than five centuries after joan of arc's death, or about the controversial character of both the building and the admiration for joan, you see nothing but a rather difficult to appreciate church.

We weren't sure what to expect on entering this most unusual structure but were amazed at the magnificent stained glass, high ceiling, and serenity inside. There is a garden area outside with the memorial at the presumed place of the burning. Free public restrooms are just a short walk away. Worth a stop when in Rouen.

It was a bit of a letdown. Kind of reminded me of a Lutheran Church we have at home. Still interesting to see where she met her horrible end. This was about the only thing in Rouen we thought was so so.... otherwise we were pleasantly surprised with the city.

This is a stunning building. It looks like a crocodile and it looks more like something out of a brother Grimm's fairy tale. We could not see inside because it is shut at lunch time.

While doing a mini cruise with Brittany ferries we visited this church. Fascinating to actually stand at the spot where she was so cruelly burnt to death. The church itself is beautiful with a touch of modern architecture as well as stunning stained glass windows. If you are into history a place to visit!
