This is a small chapel dedicated to seafarers. The route up is best taken on foot (though one can drive) from the town of Honfleur below. As well as the charming church, and the peal of bells standing outside which sound every quarter and peal on the hour, there are fantastic views over the Seine to Le Havre and woodlands... More

We had a good time picnicking at the top of the grace mont. the walk around it, is just fine to do with children as not too long. The church is lovely and the kids specially enjoy the magnificent bells : it is worth waiting to be on the hour to hear the tune!

Walk up the steep hill, cycle or use the prairie train and you will be rewarded with a simple setting and plenty of interest. The panoramic views from the hilltop are all worthwhile (another 100 metres round the corner and you can get some more, too). The church is delightful, ancient and evocative in atmosphere thanks to a blend of... More

A truly special church. A perfect example of one of the ugliest buildings ever built. Not worth a trip, but if you're in town it's a good reminder that not every old building is pretty.

Yes, there are many churches in France's villages and towns, but this one has its own charms and we especially loved the stained glass windows. If you 're lucky you might catch an organ concert. The church has excellent acoustics.

Residents of this town bring boats to be blessed for safe travels on the sea - there are some hanging from the ceiling. It brings home how dangerous it was to make a living on the seas. This is not a place to visit for awe-inspiring beauty or architecture, but it captures I think a little of the spirit of... More

take a walk from Honfleur up to the hill to visit an old church with magnificent bell tower and enjoy the stunning view to the town and the Normand Bridge

We hiked up the hill to the Notre Dame de grace church and then noted that many visitors came by taxi! Either way it is worth the trip to see this treasure. Very historic and beautiful!

Pretty little church, inside and outside! And a few meters away, there is a lovely viewpoint overlooking Honfleur, Le Havre, the Pont de Normandie.
