My friend who is a native of Honfluer took my husband and I to the cathedral and told us that it is dedicated to the fisherman. Pretty views and the bells for the cathedral are located outside of it.

Get some exercise and hike up the hill for a great view of town and bridge. Church is quaint and full of boats and prayers for seamen. Unique "bell tower" outside.

Great little church in a perfect spot. The bells are to the left of the church on an 'A' frame and are rung on an automated system.

Even non-believers have to be touched by this beautiful church where the faithful, though plaques on the walls, express timeless thanks for answered prayers such as the health of a child or safe delivery from the perils of World War I. Seamen have also donated beautiful ship models. The setting is bucolic, the bells are beautiful and the views all... More

This chapel/church overlooks the city of Honfleur and the Seine harbor area. To access it by foot will require 1/2 to 3/4 hour and the walk will be uphill all of the way......some of it virtually "straight up". However, it is well worth the climb. BUT.............please do not attempt this unless you are in reasonably good physical condition. And.....it can... More

This is a tiny church tucked on the hillside outside honfleur. We chose to walk which was strenuous but worth it for the views. There is an intimacy to this church which is missing in a lot of the larger ones. It was interesting to see all the Sea faring paintings and the wooden ships hanging from the roof. As... More

Ok so the signposted route up on foot is a bit of a climb and then you have to walk for 1/2 a mile or so once you have gotten up the hill, easier route is from the centre of town up Rue du Puits and follow the one-way system straight up the hill, it's shorter to, but once you... More

Just a 15 minute walk from the centre of Honfleur via the Rampe de Joli (a steep but well surfaced public footpath with spectacular views). This lovely little chapel is well worth a visit either on foot, by car or using the tourist train which includes the site in its informative round trip of Honfleur. Built in he 1600's to... More

It is possible to drive up to this church but we decided to walk, quite strenuous but well worth the climb, as inside is all peace and quiet. On the way up spectacular views of the Normandy Bridge open up at every twist and turn.
