From Honfleur centre it is a steep climb in parts but well worth it, not just for seeing the church but for the spectacular views on the way and once you get there. It was very interesting to look around, and we were most taken with the clarity and frequency of the bells ringing.

A lovely little chapel overlooking Honfleur dedicated to seafarers with a set of bells housed outside the chapel with a beautiful chime.

A lovely little Chapel at the top of the hill overlooking Honfleur & the Seine estuary. The Chapel stands opposite a small wooded parking and picnic area. Alongside the Chapel are the bells held in a large wooden frame at ground level which chime automatically, driven by electric motors. Inside, the Chapel is small but atmospheric and was apparently the... More

This is a beautiful old church at the top of Mont Joli - a steep walk up but well worth it for the views. Also for the wonderful set of bells that are unusually housed outside the church on a wooden structure on the ground. Try and time your visit to be there on the hour for the longest chimes!

The walk up is beautiful. Picturesque homes along the way, some quaint and well cared for, some quite large and overgrown, all interesting. The bells tolling as we came nearer were lovely. The church is a wonderful place. Lovely inside and out. We somehow got lost coming back so had quite a long trek as it started to rain! I... More

.....definitely worth it. We hiked up the pedestrian path and down road. Steep climb but the views are worthwhile. Several very nice viewpoints of Honfleur and the Seine enroute. The small church is quite nice with a good bit of stain glass, model boats, etc. Beautiful setting.

While my husband considered the hike up to the church a death march, he survived and was wowed away withe the views. Oh, and did I mention there was a wedding taking place! I'm sure we are included in 100 photos, but such fun and beauty

A very unusual little church with an interesting history. Also remember to look at the ancient bells around the side of the church. This is a steep walk up from the town, so possibly not suitable for the elderly or infirmed.

This is a few miles outside Honfleur, but the mini train can take you there. But if you drive take a picnic and chairs.

Worth the hike up Cote de Grace - or drive if you prefer. This little church has a wonderful story - and the only one we've ever been in with model boats hanging from the rafters! The view from the park overlooking the harbors, Le Havre, Honfleur is spectacular.
