The Barriere casinos are very select and impressive. It is always a big sensation when I go there even in different countries or regions. Very welcoming and polite staff, the salles de jeux are classy and easy to reach and to play. You can spend the time you want, nobody to bother you. The bar is very nice when you can have... More

Walked over only to find out I needed to run back to hotel for passports Reasonably nice but many gambling were VERY CASUALLY dressed (at least not bathing suits). The staff was not particularly friendly. Slow bar service. Our friends ate in the better restaurant and were not impressed. We left after promptly losing € and ate downtown.

There is nothing on the casino website that says you need a passport to enter the casino, so I could not properly evaluate the gaming tables, cuisine, quality of cocktails, etc. I will base my "terrible" review on the security staff who were humorless and emotionless. They were like speaking to a choir of robots. When I told them there... More

Terrible service started when I arrived. I dressed up, not knowing what to expect, so didn't look like I'd washed up on the beach. Doorman acknowledged me, but reception staff ignored me when I approached to give the usual id. eventually tearing themselves away from their admin to emotionlessly 'process me'. Barman was bordering on rude when I asked what... More

We asked the owners of the bed and breakfast in Honfluer where could we get a special dinner. They stirred us to the Casino in Deauville and we are very thankful they did! We are not gamblers but we went during the winter season and felt like we were in a James Bond movie pulling up to the casino. The... More

We only popped in for a few hours - huge place, we played the roulette machines - the place is looking tired now, but it had a lot of atmosphere, and it was ok. You need some ID to enter, and you need to have long trousers - no shorts flip flops etc. I noticed on the wine list that... More

Having visited several European casinos, comparing them to Vegas is useless. They have a different, slower pace less frenetic atmosphere. You need a passport to gamble, although I have no idea why. The dealers were helpful in counting up cards at blackjack in English or French depending on the client. The decor is elegant.

Here you are not very welcome. Expensive and never again. Entrance is rather unplesant and complicated. I cabine your first Impression is two peaple Smoking in a glas cage. The employees are bad eductated and if you have been to Las Vegas you will be schocked

This is a classy establishment. If you don't want to gamble then it is free to enter (with your passport), and there is a lovely bar and outside terrace area to enjoy a drink or two. A glass of wine is 8 Euros but then you haven't paid to get in. Excellent.
