Our guide knew not only the history of the area, but also the history of the architecture of the Abby and Church. Then we had a hour or so to wander the narrow streets, eat lunch and revisit the sights. We had a great time.

Our guide was a history buff and not only walked us through the guided tours but had answers to every single one of our tangential questions; even when it seemed to obscure. We saw Pointe du Hoc, where the initial army rangers came the night before D-Day to dismantle any anti-ship weaponry; omaha beach, the most famous American Landing; and... More

This was the perfect day trip from Paris for our family. I independently arranged our train travel from Paris to Bayeux (easy). We had a few hours to explore Bayeux cathedral, the darling town and have a delicious lunch. Then we were met by Pierre in a comfortable 8 passenger van to explore the highlights of Normandy related to the... More

On Saturday 11 July 2015, I enjoyed a great day-long tour of the Normandy D-Day area which was conducted by Normandy Panorama. I was travelling alone, and I was part of a tour group of four: a fellow Australian, and a couple from Brooklyn, New York, USA. Our guide, Adeline, is a young Normandy local. She is extraordinarily knowledgeable, and... More

My husband and I enjoyed a day-long tour with Pierre of Normandy Panorama on July 6. We stayed at the the Villa Lara Hotel in Bayeux and were picked up just steps from the hotel. Because we only had one day for sightseeing in Normandy I was so happy to find a company that focused on the American sights. We... More

In early June, we were most fortunate to have two days of guided tours by Normandy Panorama. The first day was the Normandy beaches and the second was Mont St Michel. Adeline was fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and prompt. It was well worth the money and I would recommend Normandy Panorama to anyone. But one should know beforehand that... More

My best friend and I toured the D-Day Landing Beaches with Normandy Panorama in May 2015. All booking and confirmation correspondences were timely and professional. We took a very nice overnight train trip from Gare St. Lazare/Paris to Gare Caen (appx 3 hours). If travel by train, book tickets for the day before because the trains don't get out to... More

Adeline was the tour guide for my wife and I and three others. The half-day was well spent and well worth the cost. Adeline was informed, pleasant, and interested in making our experience(s) memorable.

We did a full day D-Day tour with Piere. He seemed to know everything about WWII, and was an excellent tour guide. We learned so much about the invasion and WWII in general. Highly recommend this tour.

Went with five people for a tour of the US cemetery, beachhead and cliffs. Started from the museum driven in a clean and comfortable van. Catherine, our guide, made the experience an educational, moving and thoroughly worthwhile day trip from Paris. She was exceedingly knowledgeable, personable, respectful and had an uncanny ability to relate to all the different personalties on... More
