We were part of a traveling group of eight who hired Dale for a full day's tour. Best way to describe the tour is "outstanding"! My wife and I considered his combination of invasion information and human interest stories as top notch. As mentioned by others, Dale is a great storyteller. We also enjoyed lunch in a former German headquarters.... More

My wife and I spent the day with Dale touring the American D-Day sites. Dale is an excellent storyteller and takes you to places that aren't on the tourist route, providing an in-depth, personal account of the events of that day. We would highly recommend him.

My wife, Pat and I along with our friends, Cyndi and Bill spent 8 hours with Dale (seemed much shorter) as he drove us through the Normandy region and explained what happened that terrible day. Dale is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He is priceless! Not only does he explain the facts of that day but he goes on to tell... More

Arranging this tour about 10 months in advance for 4 adults was very easy online. As many others have stated, Dale is a phenomenal tour guide! His passion & enthusiasm about D-day is shown through historical facts, personal stories and detailed explanations at every stop of the 8 hr. tour. Dale picked us up at our Bayeux hotel promptly at... More

My father is a ninety-three year old WWII veteran and had always wanted to go to the American Cemetery in Normandy. I booked a tour with Dale for him as well as six other family members and I can’t say enough about the experience. Dale personalized the two-day tour for my father, taking into account his age and strength. He... More

Hi, from the 6th to the 10th of July I was part of an 8 person group that did a customised battlefield tour with Dale Booth. In that 4 day period Dale took us through the Normandy battlefield from the American airborne operations on the eastern flank, places like La Fiere Bridge and Ste-Mere Eglise through Utah and Omaha beaches... Within the first minutes it was clear to me why Dale's is #1. His knowledge of WWII and the area, and his passion for providing a quality tour is evident from the start. He really knows his history and we really loved the personal soldiers stories at each stop. Our group of 8 agreed this was the high point of... More

To begin with my wife and I stayed with Dale and Debbie at their B&B in Pretot-Sainte Suzanne. This is a beautiful place way out in the Norman countryside with stone buildings and hedgerows. Their hospitality is very welcoming for weary travelers with an add on dinner, Norman cider and a large beautiful room. Our three day stay was both... More

We recently toured the American D Day Beaches with Dale ( Jul 22) on a gloriously sunny (rare for Normandy) day ! As has been previously posted, he does a masterful job in bringing to life the personal details (at the small church which served as a medical station for paratroopers the night before June 6th), as well as the...
