I agree with the above review. Bertrand was incredible! He is incredibly knowledgeable, pulls in American movies to relate to and was so informative throughout the tour. He kept all of his information interesting, entertaining, and really packed in a ton of sites for us even though we only had a day. My dad really wanted to do this tour... More

My husband and I took a full-day tour with Bertrand back in early March and it was FANTASTIC! He is so knowledgeable and made it so fun and interesting to learn. My husband is a big WWII buff and this was a dream come true for him - Bertrand made it the best day! We highly recommend a tour with... More

My wife and I engaged M. Bertrand Saudrais for a full-day tour of the Normandy invasion site in June of 2014. We were both satisfied, even impressed, by M. Saudrais' responsiveness and thoroughness. At the time we initially made arrangements for the tour, we found M. Saudrais to be promptly responsive. He solicited information regarding what we particularly wanted to... More

My family of 4 adults had a 1/2 day tour with Bertrand recently, and after spending 1/2 the day with him we regret that we did not do a full day tour. Our day with Bertrand was by far the highlight of our 10 day trip to London/France. Bertrand is well prepared and was incredibly knowledgable and engaging about WWII... More

My husband, twin 16 year old boys and I spent a full day (9-6 pm) with Bertrand recently. It was truly a highlight of our 2-week trip to France. I heartily agree with other reviewers that Bertrand is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about WWII and DDay. Most of my knowledge about DDay comes from the movie, "The Longest Day", and... My husband and I along with our three kids (23, 19 and 15) had an awe-inspiring day with Bertrand. When we first began looking for guides for a Normandy/D-Day tour, my one goal was to find someone who could keep our teenagers/young adults engaged for the whole day. Well, Bertrand did just that. Our kids - who aren't exactly history... More

My husband, 23-year-old son, and I spent a full-day tour with Bertrand. We toured the American D-Day beaches, German cemetery, Sainte Mère Eglise, US National Cemetery, and made a quick visit to a Calvados producer to taste and purchase this local specialty. I highly recommend touring with Bertrand. He is knowledgeable and passionate about World War II (and history in... More

My wife and I had an excellent half-day (8:30am-1:30pm) tour with Bertrand on June 3. I had told him we wanted to retrace the steps of my father's unit (741 Tank Battalion) from their D-Day landing on Omaha until he was KIA on June 19, 1944 near the hamlet of Touze. As others have stated, Bertrand was engaging, well informed,... More

My wife and I took a full day tour with Bertrand. The tour was excellent and his knowledge on the subject was incredible. His perspective was very interesting and he showed us many things I don't think you would see on other tours.

Our family of 4 (2 older teens included) had a great day with Bertrand. Our train was almost 2 hours late leaving Paris, and Bertrand had a plan when we arrived. He was there in Bayeaux to greet our late train and he had us on the road with informed options so we could still see the most. As a... More
