Our party of four booked a five-day tour with Stuart May 21-25, 2014, based partly on the excellent prior reviews on Trip Advisor. Our expectations were fully met. Stuart was very accommodating, adjusting each days' schedule according to our desires. We had obtained copies of his new book (highly recommended) just prior to our tour, and that enhanced our understanding... More

From the moment Stuart Robertson and his wife Jenny met us at the airport, they were focused on fulfilling our every wish. Stuart is a scholar. His knowledge of the battlefields and what he has learned from many who fought there is amazing. We stayed at 1 Le Port where the bed and breakfast adjoins their residence. Jenny went out... More

We booked a four day tour of Normandy and stayed with Stuart and Jennifer at their beautiful B&B (16th Century farmhouse). The hospitality was outstanding! Stuart made the history of the D-Day campaign come to life and truly hit home with engaging stories told to him by veterans who have returned over the years. At each stopping point, we "met"... More

Stuart was a fantastic tour guide for our family trip to Normandy. He met us at the train station and spent an entire day making the region come to life for us. Stuart has a great depth of knowledge and hands-down made our trip to Normandy the best part of our trip to France.

Stuart and Jennifer were gracious hosts, and Stuart is an excellent guide. As a group of six, we wanted to maximize our time. We booked a four day tour, staying in their beautiful 16th century farmhouse. The first day, Stuart started with the British and Canadian paratroop drops, then Sword Beach and the Hillman fortress. His explanation of the overall... More

Stuart is an amazing tour guide! We enjoyed our Normandy tour with him so much. He brought D-Day to life. He told great real life stories about real people involved in D-Day. He didn't just tell fact after fact after fact - he made it all so interesting by telling everything as a story. He customized the tour just for... More

Stuart Robertson is a consummate guide and passionate storyteller. As a professional historian, he has a wealth of information to share. He brought to life the events of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy during our day-long tour of some of the landing beaches, towns where pivotal battles occurred, and cemeteries where both Americans and Germans lie. Even though D-Day... More

While planning our trip to Paris, we decided to take a day trip and tour Normandy. After researching the options, we chose Stuart Robertson's Tour. This was one of the best decisions we made and was one of the most memorable tours we have ever taken. Stuart was punctual, friendly and unbelievably informative. We learned so much about D-Day from... More
