We just completed a week-long travel through Brittany and Normandy, and Stuart organized and guided us through a one-day tour including important sites such as Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, American and German cemeteries. He knows his history and recounts battles in a powerful, engagement way. It was the highlight of our trip. If we return, we'll ask Stuart to take... More

If you want to focus your experience to see and learn about the battle(s) of Normandy and D-Day, Stuart Robertson is an outstanding private guide and historian. We chose a three day tour and stay of four nites at their bed & breakfast in Neuville au Plain. Stuart and his wife Jenny were outstanding hosts. We will never forget them... More

No matter how much one reads, a guide to various WWI & WWII sites is absolutely necessary. One may have knowledge and question, but the guide easily assembles the puzzles.

We just returned to our hotel in Paris after spending the day with Stuart Robinson on his single day D-Day tour. Stuart is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. His knowledge of the history, military strategy, geography, politics, and global context of the events that occurred in the Normandy area is truly remarkable. He is eager to share his insights to... Stuart Robinson's Normandy Battle Tours is a first rate comprehensive, historical and emotional event not to be missed. His first hand interviews of returning veterans added an emotional and thought provoking dimension to our detailed four-day visit of the Normandy Battlefield Beaches. We were met at Carentan train station and stayed in the 350 year-old bed and breakfast where he... More

Visiting the D-Day beaches was on top of our Bucket List for many years and we were delighted to be able to share our visit with Stuart. Stuart educated us and gave us emotional accounts of combat veterans. Stuart is knowledgeable and personable - a fantastic combination. I HIGHLY recommend Normandy Battle Tours.

Our family of four took the one day tour of the American D-Day beaches/sector on 12/31/14. From the time Stuart picked us up the Carentan station until he returned us to the same location for return train to Paris, he was a non-stop source of very detailed and in many instances quite detailed/personalized information. By the time we got to... More

My family (grandparents, parents, and 2 kids) spent three days and two nights with Stuart Robertson (Normandy Battle Tours) and his wife, Jennifer, experiencing the sights and real-life stories of the Allied Invasion of Normandy. Stuart shared his extensive knowledge in a way that was interesting to members of all three generations. While there can be a good bit of... More

We booked with Stuart for a tour with our family including two grand-daughters (who loved it) near the end of March 2015 for three days. Stuart picked us up at the train station and we began our tour. It was outstanding. Stuart is an accomplished military historian and who has deeply researched and written a book about D-Day. His personable... More
