Stuart's passion for this part of WWII history comes through very quickly. His in-depth knowledge coupled with his stories brought what happened on D-Day (setting the context from the German perspective, preparations from the Allies perspective) to life! My husband and I were with our 10 year old (he is quite fascinated by military history), who learned, laughed and even... More

Stuart took great care of us and went out of his way to insure our quick visit to Normandy was a success. He is a true expert on both the military history but on how to convey the story in a very compelling and meaningful way. We recommend him highly!

My family of 5 spent a full day in Normandy with Stuart and I have to say that we had an amazing trip! Stuart's knowledge and passion for the history of Normandy was incredible. He picked us up from the train station in Carentan, France and took care of everything else, we recommend Stuart to anyone visiting Normandy.

I was lucky enough to be able to get a booking with Stuart during October half term when I spent a fantastic day with Stuart touring the battlefields with my 73 year old father and my sons aged 12 and 14. His in-depth knowledge and great stories made the day so interesting yet still accessible to the boys. We visited... More

After doing online research, Normandy Battle Tours had the best approach to presenting the WWII battlefield sites, complemented by Stuart's in depth knowledge as a historian and author. He and his wife Jenny were perfect hosts. Their farmhouse B&B is designed to offer the privacy of your own cottage with full amenities, including snacks and beverages. After breakfast (served by... My father served in the 14th Armored Division of the 3rd Army and fought in the Battle of the Bulge so I have a keen interest in all things WWII European Theater. I have read extensively about D-Day but had never been to Normandy. A friend of mine arranged the trip and my wife and I joined he and his... More

We traveled to Normandy to stay with the Robertson's for the second time in June 2015. Our first experience (June 2013) was so fantastic we knew we couldn't go wrong with Normandy Battle Tours again. We were not disappointed! Once again Stuart worked with us to plan the perfect 3 day tour with our 3 boys (ages 15,13, & 10).... More

I very much recommend you use Stuart when touring Normandy. He is incredibly knowledgable about the subject matter and friendly. My husband is the history buff but his tour was just perfect for both of us. It was easy to get there from Paris and I can't imagine a more perfect way to experience Normandy. And Normandy is a true... More

Although I'm an author, I'm not sure I can put into words how fantastic this experience was for me and my family. My wife and I took her parents on a 50th wedding anniversary trip and Normandy was the highlight. Both I and my father in law are veterans, so seeing this place hit us in the heart and head.... My wife and I spent one of the most incredible 5 day vacation and educational trips hosted by Stuart Robertson and his wife, Jenny. They deserve more than 5 stars for their graciousness, hospitality and knowledge about every aspect of D-Day and related battles, museums, and sites. We were so pleased to stay at their bed and breakfast where we... More
