We spent the day with Alan on the Overlord tour. I can't imagine driving around on our own to see the the beaches. These people know their history. To have watched so many documentaries of the war and then to see the expanse of the beaches and what the troops went through I was teary eyed more than a few... More

After comparing tours, DH and I decided to book with Overlord for our Oct trip. Registered online and have not had any response in almost a week. The email address on their site was not a valid email. I am confused as there are so many positive reviews. Will likely now book with another company.

We took the full day tour which started at the train station at 9:30 AM. Alain was there to greet the group. We boarded the minibus and we were off for a tour of a lifetime. We were in a group of 18 people. Alain's description of the beaches on D-Day painted quite a picture. He has a passion for... More

I planed a Normandy Beach tour for my Aunt and Uncle. We choose Tour 3 and all four of us had a wonderful day and enjoy the presentation scene descriptions at each site. We loved the small intimate group of 8. They day moves fast and our tour guide Alain Mussard was great. Our tour group was ahead of schedule... More

We booked with Overlord based on a recommendation and that they were the only one that had two seats open left on the 70th D Day anniversary week. I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased to experience Brigette as our tour guide. As a retired army infantry soldier, I am a history nut. Brigette was well versed and knew all... More

We took the Band of Brothers Tour with Bridget and, from the moment we climbed into the minivan we were enthralled. Ten hours later, when she drove us back to Bayeux, we returned with the coffers of our hearts and our minds full. From Omaha Beach to the interior farms, we followed in the footsteps of the heroes we had... More

We left our cruise ship @ 0830 for our 2 hour drive to Omaha Beach, where it began to rain so we retreated to our van and Brigette continued our history lesson. We then visited the American cemetery---very solemn and reverent place. We continued to Utau beach. The bunkers were phenomenal. Brigette was informative and knowledgeable. All in all a... More

This was my first trip to Normandy and the WWII/D Day invasion zone. I was not overly familiar with the entire history, outside of watching various films and movies (Band of Brothers) etc. This trip was a wonderful way to see it all first hand, and to put it into perspective. Of course the tour will hinge on the quality... More

I spent two great days with Overlord Tours visiting primarily the American sectors. My guide was named Colin and he provided the real story behind the D-Day assault.…not just the approved Hollywood version. Quite unexpectedly, my favorite stop became a small forgotten church where two US Paratrooper medics treated dozens of solders of both sides. It seemed like an oasis... More

What an amazing day! My husband and I did the Band of Brothers Tour with our guide Brigette. She was extremely informative and very interesting to listen to. The Day was just everything we hoped it would be from start to finish. Beautiful and sobering all at the same time. Thank you.
