I'm not one for big tours and planned to go it with just my wife, but changed my mind after reading information about Normandy online. It was 10 Nov and I called Overlord about small tours, but they don't do them off season. We could, however, hire a van and guide for 530 euros (I believe) for a day and... More

We booked the Band of Brothers full day tour and it was amazing. We visited the D-Day beaches, the American cemetery, and followed the steps of the 101st airborne. Our guide, Alain, was full of interesting stories and commentary. The entire tour was very interesting and enjoyable. It was a great way to see most of the Normandy region. I... More

Our group of ten joined a full-sized busload of cruise ship tourists out of Le Havre for a day trip to visit Normandy Beach, the U.S. National Cemetery, and related sites. We had opted to book privately rather than as part of a cruise ship shore excursion, as we've traveled extensively and learned from experience that we would receive greater... More

We spent the day touring Normandy beaches and the American graves. Just the location is emotional but our guide, Colin, was superlative. He had great pride in the soldiers that fought in the war and he left no question unanswered. We were hard pressed to find questions because his knowledge was so thorough. When we did have questions he was... More

Seventy one years after my late Father landed on Sword beach, we booked the British and Canadian beaches tour, not quite knowing what to expect. We joined up with 5 others making up our group and met the best tour guide you could possibly hope for - Colin. His depth of knowledge of D-day and the Battle of Normandy was... More

Awesome experience....dedicated guide who made you so proud and honored to be there and part of the experience, he actually thanked us for taking time out of our vacation to visit Normandy. It is worth the trip and a private tour is the way to go to get the most out of your time. Thank you!

Great throughout what a fantastic tour with knowledgeable and dedicated guide. Thorough detailed examination of facts. Watch the longest day film and Patton before you go if your current knowledge is zip. Go to pegasus bridge muesum as a must.

This was my third trip to the American sectors of Normandy, and it was by far the best tour I've had. We had a private tour with Collin as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable. I am an amateur historian, but Collin continually surprised me with historical facts and anecdotes I had never heard before. My girlfriend - NOT a... More

This was my second visit to the D Day beaches, and I learned so many new things about the events that occurred there. Standing on Utah Beach in the cold October rain as our guide, Pierre, brought the D Day landing to life was very moving. The weather was similar to that experienced during the landing. That made this wonderful... More

We took an "all day" tour of the D-Day beaches, battle grounds, etc. Best part of this tour was our guide Yannick. He really listened to the questions asked him and even "altered" the tour a little to include things, places, people we were asking about. He seems extremely knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does! Also very much liked... More
