We toured in late November when the weather can be very bad. Fortunately, we only had a slightly overcast day and a terrific tour. Keeping the group small, with a maximum of eight people (we had five), contributes to the personal experience and allows lots of questions. The tour itself is very intimate in it's explanations of what most likely... more

I took the American Highlights tour in May, 2009 led by Julian. I was by no means an expert on Normandy, but read several books before going (Osprey books - very detailed). What I learned was much more than I could retain. Julian was a great and extreemly personable guide. It was a great pleasure to meet him. Thank you... more

My friend and I took the Canadian tour on September 28, 2009. It was the most profound experience of our entire trip. Stuart has such a passion about relating the story and keeping it alive, one can't help but be swept up. He is extremely knowledgeable and respectful of the story of D-Day. We loved the personal stories he related... more

The guide on my tour was the business owner and he was very good, an enthusiastic communicator with a comprehensive knowledge of the events and personal accounts of D-Day. His aim was to bring the stories of the invasion to life, rather than recite the dry facts (as I heard guides on other tours doing). The tour group was small... more

My wife and I took part in the "Band of Brothers" tour package...best experience ever. We made the mistake of waiting too long to book a different tour for the following day with a DIFFERENT tour operator...we REGRET that move. Julian was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very informative. If you are touring in Normandy don't bother looking anywhere else. more

My wife and I recently booked the American Highlights Tour with Battlebus Tours. The small group size [ limited to eight per van ] and the phenomenal knowledge of our tour guide Alan made for a very informational and memorable experience. Alan told the story of D-Day through the individual experiences of soldiers, medics and locals who participated on that horrific... more

My family and I of 6 took a private tour through Battlebus with our guide Sean. It was an amazing trip, throughout many American highlights and some british. Sean told us some amazing stories, that has only sparked my already large interest even more in WWII. I cannot say enough about how much our family enjoyed this tour. I highly... more

We went on the 2 day American Highlights tour with Jules. It was a brilliant tour. Jules was fantastic and told many stories in the 2 days of the heroics of the soldiers. He remained entertaining and very interesting throughout the 2 days. It was very captivating especially for someone like me who wasn't a WW2 buff. My partner thought... more
