Free Zoo with good organisation. Spend a couple of hours here. Great location as well. We took a walk around the Citadell on the adjacent site.

A terrific find in Lille - a wonderful zoo with giant tortoises, rhinos, tapirs and gibbons with no entry fee. A lovely couple of hours seeing the animals and reading about the conservation efforts.

Whilst this is a small zoo, we really enjoyed our visit. The animals appeared to be very well looked after and good sized enclosures.

I happen to be in to this zoo accidentally while I was searching for the citadel De Lile. You have to turn left from the statue near the citadel entrance and walk along. When I went there, I felt lucky that I have found it. Nice landscaping in and around the zoo. Above all the entrance is FREE. The only... More

When I read that the zoo was free admittance I was slightly concerned that the living conditions for the animals would be bad. Fortunately, this was not the case at all and the zoo is an excellent, budget friendly way to kill time. I expect this would be terrific with kids.

The zoo is free. That's good, but it is lacking. The enclosures are well sized and the animals seem fairly happy but the premises, paved areas, and general design hasn't really been updated for the 1980s. All and all though we had an enjoyable day, and it was completely free. So I guess I shouldn't complain!

This zoo is a great place to visit and is completely free! Good size enclosures and animals are grouped in categories. Very interesting and would cost a fortune to visit with a family in the UK.

This zoo is not the best zoo but the park is nice and its free entrance. There's a great playground a little further up on the park too. Good stop of if your in lille.

For anyone visiting the Lille area a visit to the Zoological Park close to Lille's Citadel there is an exciting world of discovery to experience. This is a place that should be of interest for family groups, adults, seniors and students of wildlife. What makes it even better value is that this is a free attraction! At the entrance to... More
