The A380 is a majestic airplane which I was able to enjoy on several business trips. So visiting the A380 production site was a must for us when we visited Toulouse. Alas, we felt that Airbus wasted an opportunity to convey a feeling for the plane's class and grandeur during the tour. The tour began in a container-like building, with... More

You are probably expecting to get a FACTORY tour and see an Airbus being assembled. Sorry but you WONT. This is a truely awful waste of time. Watching planes from an airport car park is much more interesting. You get loads of chat, even more videos, shown some prototypes way in the distance, from a viewing gallery, more videos and... More

As a frequent traveller and therefore a frequent user of Airbus aeroplanes, I was keen to visit the factory and see how they are constructed. The tour takes about 1.5 hours and covers 3 main areas - 20 minutes or so on the certifications of the airbus A380 including being in a telemetry room looking at the different displays and... More

I was looking forward to seeing the inner workings of the Airbus 380 but was disappointed by what was offered. Although the guide was well versed having been a pilot the content was not what I was looking for. The beginning of the tour focused on the first test flight of the A380. This lasted about 15 minutes. It did... More

Not a bad tour. It's set in three stages - the first flight, the visit to the hangers where they make the A380 and then a visit to the mock up of the plane where you can sit in the (dated) seats. The tour felt pretty shallow to me. The English speaking French guide clearly knew a lot about the... More

I've done the tour many times, as an airline pilot myself flying the aircraft and trained in Toulouse. I had the luxury for one more visit with friends. They enjoyed very much! Merci mes amis !

To qualify this review I will say from the outset I am not an anorak or an enthusiast of aircraft and we only went to the factory because our friend works for Air Bus and it seemed like the polite thing to do. However, we both really enjoyed the visit. It seems to me that most people in Toulouse know... More

Only advance bookings accepted and passports required. 15.50 euros one tour and 23 euros for 2 tours. Reduced prices for under 25 years like a lot of other French attractions. Had one real plane enthusiast in our group but all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Ensure you book tours in your language . We did the 1 pm panoramic... More

A lot has been said about the"lack of activity" or "you need to go on a weekday". I have an aviation background and was there on a Saturday. Whilst initially concerned I realised it Does Not Matter because the nature of the assembly process is you will be lucky to see actual assembly. The tour starts with some R&D background... More

I was shocked to see so many folks wanting to take a tour of the Airbus Final Assembly Plant in Toulouse. Despite the crowd, the tours were great. Both guides explained everything well. Seeing where they are assembling the 380 was fab! Several commented that it was much better than the Boeing Tour n Seattle. We were explained how the... More
