There are so many places to go to Mass, pray, Adoration, reconciliation etc. The grotto was my all time favourite place to be, especially for the 11pm Mass. There is discreet bookshop with good books and quality items quite away from the shrine. The Lourdes water treatment was a bit unexpected... best to ask someone who has already been there... More

The sanctuary was most beautiful. Too many tourists but I guess it is to be expected. The food was too large per portion for small Asian eaters like me. Toilets were clean and the day tours were good. No complaints.

Looks a little bit like the castle in Walt Disney's logo on the approach, but the architecture here is very impressive. I’ll have to concede that it’s actually a very stately looking building, with marvellous paintings and a very tranquil, spiritual feel. what can I say, important religious site lives up to expectations. Facilities and churches beautiful, and pilgrims and number of visitors impressive

Liked: Mass at Grotto and Basilica. Disliked: talking amongst friends at Grotto and chapel, Mass schedule for St Gabriel Chapel is not provided by information counter at Sanctuary.

Mass at Grotto, evening procession with rosary being said. Watching all the sick people being wheeled in the procession by so many caring helpers.

For all believers and nonbelievers, this santuary brings peace and a new found act of kindness between humans. In this place we are all the same, and a new sense of spritual healing that we all need. It is something that can only be feel here at this place.

Set in a beautiful part of France, the sanctuary is a must on any Christians list. Very well run, you feel an inner peace when walking into the grounds of the grotto. Masses are being said at all venues all through the day. Only downside was the behaviour of a couple of officious volunteers who were taking their job far... More

I travelled to Lourdes from London using Tangney Tours, and it was the best decision I made. Unfortunately at the start of our excursion, our tour rep, Linda had to rush back to Ireland due to a family emergency so Lisa and Silvie, her colleagues had to step in to assist. They were so informed having lived and worked in... More

Wonderful experience. Have never felt the sense of peace I have felt here. Prepare to walk. If travelling with older individuals or kids you may want to buy a folding chair which are available in the shops by St Joseph gate.
