really enjoyable museum, and especially useful if you have young children that you want to keep busy. Even for adults it is a nice way to pass time.

Over 60's only 2.20 euros for a really good aquarium and animal museum. Really good way to spend a couple of hours.

This aquarium is well worth a visit, especially if you have the Nancy Six Museum Pass (only 10 Euro). The tanks are amongst the best we have seen, and we've seen a few. Fastidiously clean tanks, and much work has gone into the creation of perfect little aquatic worlds. Upstairs there are a lot of stuffed animals, which may not... More

The aquarium had some animals that i had never seen. There were massive hippos and walruses in the museum which made it so fascinating.

I went yesterday with my kids, age 8 and 12. They LOVED it. They are used to going to large Aquariums in the US but rated this one as excellent. We spent there a little more than one hour, and they were excited and happy the whole time. There are very special and interesting fish. Very interesting for adults too.... More

I love aquaria - I know I can find them near oceans or seas. But here's an aquarium in the North Eastern part of France - no sea to be seen - and bang in the middle of the city. Ehh? So we went there and were amazed. The tanks on offer may be on the small side but they... More

I loved this aquarium, and so did my four children. An excellent little find but a little off the beaten track. From the outside you would be forgiven for thinking you were at the wrong building as it looks more like a council office than a tourist attraction. Once inside, although small as mentioned by other reviews, the displays were... More

This is a different kind of museum than most you see in Nancy, or all of France for that matter. The tanks of tropical fish were interesting but small. The other stuffed animals on display would be neat if you like that kind of thing. My favorite part was the incredible flower gardens outside right next to the museum. Every... More

Listen up, international travelers! We all know that it's free entry on the first Sunday of each month to some national museums around France, but I bet you didn't know the Aquarium of Nancy falls into this category too. =) So for travelers with young children who wish to keep the little ones amused, and to change it up a...
