The outside edifice is most impressive and dominates the local landscape. Exceptionally clean and tidy inside. Stain glass windows compliment the great look to the building. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful monument but is not easy to park for travellers. A building to be admired for its beauty not practicality

- crowded, unmanned, outside and very expensive car park for travelers - no room for setting down - cold an sad Just an ancient and beautiful monument but not a service.

It's a miracle that this building survived the war and I am so glad that it did, it makes taking the train a delight.

After a train ride by TGV from Paris, I arrived at Limoges train station where I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of old and new architecture. From Paris it only takes you3 hours to reach Limoges and it's a great town, after having seen busy Paris. The station is located in a less beautiful area of Limoges and it... More

The station is somewhat like a cathedral, large and spacious but lacking in activity except when a train arrives. Not worth a visit on it's own, but if you arrive by train OK. Limoge Old town is quite interesting and you have the benefit of many china ware shops to visit. Very pleasant in the summer sun for a stroll... More

This has a beautiful art moderne exterior and it is worth a trip for this alone.Unfortunately the ticket machines dont work properly. They wont translate to english.I found a kind soul to help me but alas the machine refused to recognise my card,so i had to join the queue in the ticket office where a helpful lady printed off my tickets.

I love its location and I love its architecture. No wonder why it's one of the most beautiful train station in Europe from the inside and outside. But beware of the elevators due to their state! I once got stuck inside an elevator and the staff had to call firefighters to rescue me (really bad luck that time). Hope there... More

A beautiful classic station with all the amenities. A formal restaurant, as well as a café, newsstand, and two car rental agencies.
