A very nice park nearby the centre of Limoges - you just want to sit and read your favorite book in this well maintained park, under the shade of the hundred years trees... Better to come in summer than winter - winter go to the museum nearby!

The landscaping and water features are first class. Take time to stroll around the different aspects of each of the garden layouts - of which there are many. Plenty of seating in the sun or shade for a picnic to take in the surroundings. Do not miss the museums and plan to spend the day there.

This botanical garden is set in the grounds of the old bishops' residence. The buildings themselves have been renovated and now house the fine art museum. The gardens are exceptional - one of a kind specimens of rare plants and trees, native plants, special displays throughout the year. There are several differents areas where you can also find a fountain,... More

Loved the massive public garden, so many different parts to it? There's wide open stretches of grass, as there are ponds with fish in them, and herbs and flowers everywhere.

Botanical garden at the cathedral, full of lovelt borders, parterres, trees and blend into the garden of the Bishops Palace - musee des beaux arts, and down to the riverside below St Etienne Cathedral

We took at early morning walk through Limoges's Jardins de l'Eveche. Even though the gray skies were dampening our mood, we were charmed by the network of venues contained in this expansive garden.

There are 2 spectacular fountains. The really eye catching one is off to the right hand side. There is a central fountain and smaller fountains by the edge of the pool. When the central fountain plays the outer ones are quite and then they change round.Really quite spectacular.

Poorly maintained garden, so not very interesting. Loots of weeds, no pleasure to the eye. If maintained well, it could maybe a pleasure to visit!
