First public garden in France and still a stunner with water features and the classical beauty of sculptures and the temple of Diana which even broken glass, presumably left by people partying did not spoil.

We spent a few hours here enjoying the sculptures, nice clean white sontework with the natural spring and fountains surrounding the area. My wife has difficulty walking so she did not get to enjoy the park area and gardens up the stone step towards the Roman Tower but it is a much larger area than it appears and well worth...

Escape the bustle of the town on a hot day, head for these gardens. Take the route up the hillside for a great view of Mediterranean plants and trees. See the baths built for the Romans, (shame not available anymore for my hot feet) Spent a couple of hours here and loved it.

Lovely park free admission temple dianna walk up to la tour magne..is a steep climb up slope or steps..views from going up steep spiral staircase to top very good...use the 9 euro 3 trip tkt from seeing the colosseum. Little snack cafe bar just outside the main gates. toilets by main gates. Great weather!

Although this is a bit of a trek through Nimes, it really should be done. As you follow the signs and turn the corner to the road up to the gardens you are faced with a beautiful road, water course in the centre, trees on either side and that is before you get to the gardens.

What a find! Beautiful park/garden. Don't use the cafe in the park, we got drinks and fresh crepe at the stall just outside the main gates. Nice way to spend an afternoon.
