It's a small museum with a huge floor mosaic being its definite highlight. Of painters of any significance they have Rubens and Jan Miense Molenaer and Paul Delaroche's canvas. The museum is free

Tourist blurb says famous French, Italian etc artists. I didn't recognise most of the artists in the collection but there are some wonderful pieces in the collection including sculpture and a beautiful intricate piece of mosaic tiling.

Though not very large, this little gem is totally free and had a nice collection of mostly French and Italian paintings.

Good collection. Relatively small so do make time to visit as it's not going to eat into too much time. Check opening times.

This is a must for art lovers. It is one of the great museums in the world. The central court has a mammoth Roman mosaic on display.

Small but had a diverse range of French and Italian paintings dating from the 1400's onwards. A better gift shop would have been helpful as we would have bought posters of some of the paintings

The museum is in a lovely building. The collection is well worth visiting, with some good examples of Provençal landscapes. Particularly worth seeng is the large mosaic on the ground floor.

The museum boasts sculptures, paintings and beautiful architecture and makes for a good visit as it is not very large which allows one to concentrate more fully on the works exhibited. The museum currently exhibits works (paintings and drawings) by the Nimes-born painter Charles-Joseph Natoire as well as other French, Italian and Flemish works. One room displays paintings dedicated to... More
