Great for families

We went here in the summer on a burning hot day day and our two kids loved it. Loads to see and a great option. I would highly recommend it,

if you have 2 hours spare in Montpellier, it's a great idea to take the tram 1 towards Odysseum, and visit the Aquarium. It feels like being in the water yourself surrounded by fish, amazing views and fun watching feedings. Guidance in French and English.

One of the best we have ever seen. This was a really well-conceived and interesting attraction. The themed experiences were especially impressive and for children the 'experience of the typhoon hit ship' was fascinating. GREAT. Must see.

The aquarium is nice for children and families, though some parts are just sad. The big fish tanks are interesting, and the fish seem to be ok (or as fine as a fish can get being confined in such small spaces I guess), the simulation of a boat in a storm is a delight for children, the penguins are just... This is a great experience, we spent just under 2 hours here. We arrived at about 11am and had to queue for about 15 minutes for tickets. There is a car park that gives you two hours free parking. The aquarium consists of a number of zones that feature each ocean or major sea. There is also a great simulator... More

Worth a visit, but cost Euro 31 for two. Good to see the penguins and the talks - for the money they should provide an English translation, perhaps via headphones as husband's French is not up to that level. NO toilet paper in an entire ladies' on the ground floor - had to use my own!! Displays good - liked... More

The aquarium is not big but super nice! We loved it and our 2 years old was absolutely happy! They have a ship there with real storm ☺ and it's very realistic! I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice aquarium, good to see, not very big, it doesn't have a lot of variety of fish but it's worth visiting... Spend good time overthere

A great area of different displays, live creatures, perspectives of sea life. Much better than the average 'aquarium' - also providing welcome air conditioning on a hot August day!

Been to many aquariums such as London and seaworld in florida. Doesn't compare to those however still has some excellent fish tanks. Loved the marine fish including the puffa and cow fish. Some impressive sharks. There is a talk on the sharks however was in French. There are penguins too and u get to stroke some fish at the end.... More
