A beautiful place

Its buildings, the people, the lighting in the night. Everything was so good! Really huge space, lot of green, pedestrian access and nice shops.

The bustling hub of Montpellier where the trams terminate. All the small streets off it have a fantastic variety of shops and restaurants and bars.

Take the metro-train here. From here you can walk the entire retail area of the city. Very beautiful. Very nice.

Here in the outdoor cafes and restaurants students mix with residents, visitors and opera goers attending performances in the charming opera house ( a copy of Paris!!). This is the spot... More

We much enjoy sitting in Place de la Comédie enjoying a drink or a coffee while watching the world go by. Prices are not cheap, but it is fun.

the main plaza is crawling with people but the side streets are full of interesting places if you can avoid the hordes of beggars. there are many fine restaurants if you get away from the main square.

Everything is nice. I only wish the people spoke more English. Pubs are nice, ventre ville as well. Secure Highly recommended

a beautiful place at Christmas time, very nice decorations and illuminations, a lot of cafes to hang out or listen to street musicians or attending street artists with always a gorgeous view on the old Opera. I have been deeply touched by all the flowers, candles, poems in memory of the 13 November attack, a demonstration of a deep solidarity... More
