We got in free one weekend, not sure why. We didn't get a map, so it was little bit hard to navigate where to go. There are lot's of dead ends that you walk up and then you have to come down the same path. There are no furniture inside the rooms, so they are empty but still in a... More

We got in for free due to a festival. There is a stack of history in the building and it dominates the town. Worth a trip but not sure what the normal entry charge would be.

The castle is large and impressive, and the views are spectacular. Since there are no furnishing or artifacts, we enjoyed the art displays in the interior rooms.

Exploring the history of the town of Collioure through the stories of the history of The Royal Castle was not something I thought I would be into. To be honest, I am more of a drink wine, eat local food kinda girl, but I got dragged along and I am so happy I did. This castle has beautiful views of... More

Very historical and amazing construction in the period. I liked the scope of it and how you could get great views from its height.

You can spend a couple of hours wandering on your own, or can join a guided tour. It is well worth a visit. The views from the top, or through the narrow gun turrets are wonderful.

The Castle at Collioure is located on the edge of the sea, so you get a mix of views from Ancient ruins to panoramic sea views and if you turn to race land, the Pyrenees mountains! This charming village is rested in the cliffs at the bottom of the Pyrenees mountains on the border of Spain no more than 45... More

Well it is a big castle, but to tell the truth - nothing special. Of course interesting to see the real historical castle, walk in it, but this is just it. Trakai pilis is more interesting (Lithuania), because there are decorated rooms and guns.
