This train was wonderful! It went right up into the hills where we got a great view of the vineyards, the castle and the ocean far beneath us. The scenery was spectacular, and the information was informative and also very funny. I was surprised how interesting it was, and what a long trip.

This train ride is about 45 minutes and takes you up the mountains through the countryside with great views of the city, sea, vineyards and buildings of Collioure and surrounding area. Be sure to have your camera ready for some great pictures. If you go to Collioure, you must take this train ride to get great views of the city...

Collioure on the Vermilion Coast was the top of my places to see. I wasn't disappointed with the brilliant coloured seascape that sent Derain, Matisse and Picasso into the colour frenzy that became Fauvism.
