Vin en Vacances is a vineyard tour company ran by Wendy Gedney an English woman with a passion for this wonderful area and its wines. Wendy is a wine teacher and during the tours not only will you have a thoroughly enjoyable day, you will also learn a great deal about wine and tasting. Her aim is to provide you with an experience that you can’t easily create for yourself and during the day you will explore the regions, meet some of the most interesting vignerons, taste their wines and enjoy a superb lunch. Wendy's tours always include other fabulous things such as a visit to a goat farm, a pretty village or olive oil tasting.

We had a great day out with vin en vacances, touring two different vineyards and wineries and having a lunch that was a gourmet delight. Our Driver and guide, Kate, showed an obvious love of the district and a strong knowledge of wines. Her bubbly personality, good driving skills, and knowledge of the industry made for a great day out. If... More

We have just completed a one day tour of the area around Pezenas. The highlight was a visit to the St Hilaire Domain where we were treated to a tour, tasting and lunch that was out of this world. The Domain is run by a British family in a wonderful setting, lunch by the pool was everything you could want... More

We were treated to two days of touring with Vin en Vacancies. Their tour was extremely informative and showcased the Languedoc region beautifully. Our tour operators (we had Marcel one day and Wendy the other) are very familiar with the region and its history and wines and go out of their way to make sure the day is enjoyed by... More

Well done Wendy! Our party of six had such fun today and learnt so much about the complexities of wine production. Never realised it was so complicated. Enjoyed an excellent lunch at a very good restaurant. Very well organised day to two fascinating domaines with a really interesting story to tell. We all agreed that it was very enjoyable and... I booked a meal with Vins en Vacances to celebrate a special birthday for my husband along with our grown up family. Petra and Marcel arrived at our Villa about an hour and a half before serving us a delicious 5 course meal complete with a different wine with each course which perfectly complemented the food. We enjoyed the stories... More

Wendy and Kate of Vin en Vacances took us on a wonderful wine tour of the Minevois and were so informative! We learned so much about this wine region and its rich history, and had a wonderful time, too. They are so engaging and the best guides we've ever had. We plan to take another tour next time we're there!... More

I was invited on this tour by a couple of friends and I have to say I am so glad I did. This was not just a wine tour, it was a weekend where I was able to appreciate the whole French culture of wine producing. Wendy guided me all the way through with an easy to understand layman's approach... More

Wow! This was a great way to learn about the wines of the Minervois and see the French countryside up close. From the pick-up at our hotel at 9:30, to our return about at about 6, we had a lovely time with Wendy and her cohost, Kate. Thankfully there was no test at the end of the day! We were... More

Wendy and Kate ... Are ESSENTIAL to your langeudoc visit. Their knowledge of absolutely everything about the region makes you feel a complete understanding of the Area. In Wendy's words ... This tour isn't just about wine. Though far be it from me to turn down a tour just about wine. Learning about the people that produce the wine /... More

We went on Wendy's Vin en Vacances yesterday, April 26/15. We thought we were just going to hear about the wines of the region. However, we also learned about the history of the Cathars, some amazing hiking treks and best of all, the best restaurants to find cassoulet. Wendy was so delightful, we really recommend her tours. Merci Wendy Susan... More
