If you have purchased an entry fee for the Petit Trianon (Marie Antoinette's small palace) then you will find the Temple of Love. It is located in the extensive gardens which are part of the Petit Trianon (and not to be confused with the Grand Trianon). If you want to skip the Chateau and visit the Petit Trianon you can... So many things to see at Versailles, it is incredible. This "gazebo" is close to the petit Trianon and seemingly away from the main tourist area. (One never really knows because the grounds are so large and visitors could be scattered throughout and not visible to others). The Temple of Love appeared to suggest serenity and peace to me and... I walked past this and was so devastated that I didn't end up getting a photo of it! It is simply beautiful and would make a perfect photo to go into a scrapbook or photo album!

A beautiful gazebo in the garden near the petit Trianon. It is worth finding while strolling through the gardens and makes for a lovely photo opportunity with one you love. Make sure you also visit the Hamlet village if in this part of the estate.

When you visit the Garden du Versailles, one of the smaller attractions you can see the Temple of Love, a neo-classical style pavilion called the Temple of Love, which is found in the English Garden area near the Petite Trianon. This structure was made in 1778 by Richard Mique. It is a marble structure, featuring Corinthian style columns, a ceiling... More

The whole park is breath taking, but the area around the Temple of Love is extremely amazing. This place has some kind of charm or magic, very special. And there is small river beside that has some chairs to relax ; i definitely recommend.

We stumbled across this gazebo and read the name as "temple of love". I heard from the palace it was a spot where Marie Antoinette liked to visit. We also stumbled to it while walking to Marie Antoinette's house. But we didn't realize the "temple" was this simple. But it was beautiful. =)

We actually stumbled upon this walking through the gardens. If you're a couple, make it fun and pose like the statue for a photo.
