Must see

I loved seeing Notre Dame. It is just amazing here. I love European architecture and this didn't disappoint me. A definite addition to your bucket list.

You will make more of the visit if you read about events that took place here. Look at the Church from outside to see how much was spent on building the glamorous Church at a time the French people did not have enough to eat. That could explain animosity of the revolutionaries towards religion and their attack of Clergy.

A very old and nice church by Place du Marche. My parents-in-law celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary here. The architecture is very old but very beautiful. It's a treasure to have this kind of church, especially in this small city of Versailles. The interior design, paintings and glass decors are really very nice. It's also a very solemn place where... The church is majestuosa, with an expetacular construction. The entrance was easy, and had a lot of people around the area.

There was a queue to get in but entrance was speedy. There was space to listen to the audiotour(2 or 3euros). Even with quite a few people in the Cathedral there was a degree of serenity to the place the low lighting the chants be careful you do not sit down and nod off!

I didn't know what to escape in Versailles' Notre Dame, but it was absolutely well worth the side stop while en route to the château from my nearby hotel. Don't just dash through. Take time to reflect and to admire the beauty and solemnity of this church.

We braved the train to get here which was a challenge as the maps they provide are not exactly clear. The tour of Notre Dame was worth the expense. We were able to learn about quite a few pieces in the church. We had a beautiful day which provided us the opportunity to take a lot of great pictures outside.
