Fascinating. Gothic architecture at its best, in the epicenter of Paris. Full of misteries and esoteric hidden messages. Do not forget to walk to the back garden all the way to the lovers' bridge, where thousands of locks are places by couples. This bridge allows for incredible shots of Notre Dame through the river.

After all the hype surrounding the Notre Dame, I was a little disappointed. Of course, the outside is very beautiful and has great details a lot of aspects to take in. However, the inside is quite bland. Aside from the design created by the structure of the building, there are not many other details decorating the interior.

I didn't know what to escape in Versailles' Notre Dame, but it was absolutely well worth the side stop while en route to the château from my nearby hotel. Don't just dash through. Take time to reflect and to admire the beauty and solemnity of this church.

We braved the train to get here which was a challenge as the maps they provide are not exactly clear. The tour of Notre Dame was worth the expense. We were able to learn about quite a few pieces in the church. We had a beautiful day which provided us the opportunity to take a lot of great pictures outside.

The Notre Dame Cathedral is a must see in Paris. Sitting right on the Seine, it is not only beautiful, historical, and gorgeous, it is extremely Crowded! Expect long lines, an admission fee, and a life time of memories. The grounds around the cathedral are peaceful, filled with gorgeous trees, flowers and fountains. There are benches for sitting and taking... More

The palace of Versailles and its gardens are an attraction not to be missed. The palace is beautifully restored; do not miss the historical Hall of Mirrors where the Treaty of Versailles was signed. The gardens are extraordinarily lovely. This palace is a reminder of the glory of the French dynasties. It is lovely and large and decadent all at... More

If you are going to Notre Dame for worship, I suggest you go elsewhere. I am not a pious person, but there are some things that were definitely off-puting to me. 1: There is a gift shop in the Cathedral. You read that correctly. In one area of the Cathedral is a permanent booth that sells various Notre Dame trinkets.... More

Beautiful both walking around outside and exploring inside! Went in the morning and it wasn't crowded at all!

My friend who had never been to Notre Dame before absolutely loved the service which we arrived in good time for, even though the queues were long. It did not take more than about 10 minutes to actually enter the church. The age and majesty of the interior is stunning, especially the beautiful stained glass windows. Cool, calm and even... More

Not really a church person but walked around the church and enjoyed the surroundings and always interested in the stain glass windows
