We did three bicycle tours on our trip, all with different companies, and this was THE BEST! Mark was delightful and a ton of fun. Cycling through Versailles was by far the best way to see everything, including the village. The weather was beautiful and the day was perfect... thanks Mark!

We just had the best day cycling around The Champagne Region of France. We learned so much about the process of making champagne in a really interesting way . We were amongst beautiful country side and gorgeous villages. The E bikes made cycling the hills easy and I had a smile on my face the whole day . This is... More

I would strongly urge anyone travelling to Paris for the first time to do this tour. The bike tour accommodates all fitness levels and is safe amongst the busy Paris roads. This was a highlight of our entire Europe adventure. It also allows you to cover off a lot of areas whilst saving your feet. Ben was our guide and... More

We booked the 3pm tour of Paris as a family of 4 and had a superb time! Bikes were excellent and David our guide brought Paris alive and gave us plenty of insights which were totally new to us. The cycling was very easy going (30+degrees so that was a relief!). Brilliant way to visit this gorgeous city!

A great way to see Paris! One of our favorite things we did in Paris. You get to see many smaller Paris streets that you normally wouldn't get to see. Lots of pretty Parisian architecture and interesting history of the city. The route was a total of 6.9 miles, and they e-mail you a map of your route after you're... More

We loved this tour and found it to be one of the highlights of our Paris visit. This was our first visit to Paris and along with our 14 year old daughter we ventured out in the pouring rain to keep our appointment and were rewarded with a fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable ride through Paris in the capable hands of... Mark was our guide and he did a first rate job keeping us all entertained including the kids (11 and 13). We met outside Notre Dame at 8.45am then took a metro and a train to Versailles. We had 15 in the group which was great and we toured the grounds with Marks own take on the highlights plus perfectly... More

This is a fantastic way to spend the afternoon and to get an overview of Paris. I would highly recommend this company and taking this tour at the start of your visit. Our tour guide was funny and interesting and gave us lots of history of the some of the secret destinations in Paris that you wouldn't otherwise find. This... More

My fiance and I loved this tour. We did it on our last day in paris and wished we had time for another. Do the tours, and do them earlier! Mark was our guide and we could tell he loved his job. He had a lot of interesting history to tell about the things we saw, and he made it... More

We chose this tour because they said they get off the beaten path. We were not disappointed! We rode through different neighborhoods, stopped and learned a little about each one. (Later, we went back and explored more). They even had a kid sized bike for our 10 year old.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
