This was a really well organised tour which followed the advertised brief. The riding was easy, the pace was good, the information and sights visited were fantastic. It was worth every bit of money spent. Our tour guide, Ben, was exceptional with his presentation of information along the route, and he really shared his life-long experience living in this beautiful... More

We so loved the pace of this tour given by Ian. Lots of ground covered, lots of sights seen and informative information without it going over your head. Ian kept us on our toes, entertained and informed all the way. I felt safe and secure and so happy to be in Paris

Loved this ride! It was great to see different parts of Paris that are not all total tourist attractions! Our guide Sol was vibrant and informative and I had a lot of fun!

My husband, and 2 daughters ages 17 and 11 enjoyed this tour very much. We ADORED the food market part were we got to shop for lunch. Try to schedule for a Tuesday tour because you get the full outdoor part of the market as well. Mark our guide gave us tips on where to buy what cheese, bread, tomatoes,... More

We did a biking tour with Christian from Bike About Tours on the grounds of Versailles. We had our 3 sons with us ages 15, 14, and 12. The trip was an easy pace and entertaining for everyone. We had a great time and I would highly recommend this experience.

Fantastic way to see the city without the GPS and guide book glued to our hands. The streets were not easy to navigate on our own, so having a guide saved us a lot of time. Our guide Paul was super knowledgeable, and very accommodating with our needs and questions. We learned a good mix of history, trivia, and city... More

Greg our tour guide was awesome! So knowledgeable of the city and took us off the beaten path. Bikes were in great condition and easy to ride. We even were able to keep the bikes for longer after our tour was finished so we could go back to our favorite places.

My husband, 15 year old daughter and myself toured Paris with Bike About Tours. This is a very fun, informational and unique way to get to know the city. Anna our tour guide was so knowledgeable and just a pleasure to be with! Not only did we see some of the typical Parisienne sites, but we also explored some of... More

We had a fantastic bike tour of Paris this morning! Our guide Ian led us all around the areas we wanted to explore: the Marais, the Latin Quarter, the Louvre, and much more. It was so much fun riding around the city on back streets and learning south history from Ian. He was so sweet and funny and helpful! Our... More

For a couple of hours take an easy ride through the streets of Paris led by your bike tour guide through traffic and at times crowds of tourists. While there are bike paths for much of the route, at times you need to cross busy intersections so it's best to be comfortable on bicycle although every one in our group... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
