We took our 3 young kids on a 3 hour bike trip around Paris. Our guide Aly was gorgeous and very knowledgable. She also made sure we were very safe. I couldn't recommend this enough. Must do for anyone visiting Paris- best and most fun way to see Paris.

We have three children aged from 9 to 14 and they loved this. We booked a private tour with David (big shout out to the dad-to-be) and it was great. You cover a lot of ground at an easy pace; lots of things to see and you get a route map afterwards so you can do it again. We would... More

We booked the tour of versailles. The tour was incredible, such a great way to see versailles. We would have never been able to see half the sites we did, and without them, we would have never have known there was so much more to versailles than just the chateau. The bikes and the ride were fairly easy, and this... More

We book the tour given the great reviews it had on TP, we were not disappointing. It is the best way to visit Versailles and take a good look of the gardens and fountains. Nonetheless that it raining when we took the tour, we had a great time. The only drawback we had is that one of the couples attending... More

What fun! As I sat watching a group of excited bike riders from inside a cafe, I saw the words "Bike About Tours" and announced to my husband and friend, "We're going to do that tomorrow". Booked it immediately. It's a sensational way to see Paris. It's excellent value for money - our guide was great and shared historical information... More

This tour was amazing, riding through the backstreets of different districts. We would not have seen all of the areas on our own. Our friendly guide was very knowledgeable, the group was small so made it easier for all aspects of the tour. We also did the Versaille tour three years ago. we highly recommend this company for BikeTours.

Our family owere staying in Paris and on the recommendation of a friend thought we would try Bike About Paris. We picked the Versailles tour on a Sunday and it couldn't have been better. The farmers market was happening that Sunday so our guide Mark gave us plenty of time to explore a market and select our fresh picnic lunch... More

My family visited Paris and took the Bike About Tours Versailles tour in the summer of 2013. We loved it! My kids, ages 10 and 12 at the time, still say that was one of the best times they had on the trip. The tour guides were informative and safe, with a great sense of humor that kept the kids... More

After days of sightseeing on foot in Barcelona, it was nice to have the bike tour when we got to Paris. We enjoyed the tour very much and learned a lot. This experience has made me realize that I need to book more sightseeing tours when I travel. We rented bikes from Bike About Tours the day after our tour... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
