Had breakfast here this morning. The three egg omelette with ham and cheese was delicious. Couldn't understand why so many tourists were taking pictures but realised soon after that this place featured in a popular french movie. Would recommend.

Title says it all, we went mainly due to being fans of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films and it certainly does deliver for anyone that loved Amelie. It is also worth seeing the collection of film nostalgia in the bathrooms. The fold and service were okay, nothing amazing but nothing terrible either. Probably a better place to just have a drink given... More

Great cafe for a few drinks or snacks. I didn't eat any food but we never had a problem getting a table. Fans of the film with definitely enjoy this place but even if you're not, this is a solid late night cafe/coffeehouse with reasonable prices and good drinks. Open until 1 a.m.

Nice for a quick visit if you are a fan of the movie. Be prepared to be gawked at by tour groups every couple of minutes if you sit outside. Only set menu for breakfast and the staff were very inflexible with this, all I wanted was a chocolate croissant but had to purchase the entire meal. Sadly the staff... More

We went there because my gf watched the movie "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain", and we found a fantastic Creme-Brulé, friendly staff and a nice beer.

We popped in here a couple of times during our stay in Paris. Once during the day for a couple of drinks and again in the evening for a nightcap following the Moulin Rouge show. Asides from the obvious nods to Amelie (if you are a fan, you'll instantly recognise certain parts, and recommend you check out the shrine in... More

This is the café from the film "The fabulous destiny of Amélie". Pretty much unchanged from the movie. Great atmosphere and good service. Food was good too, I'm not the biggest fan of crème brûlée, but I really enjoyed it.

Most people who come here are fans of the film. It is just a short walk uphill from Blanche metro station. I had coffee here before a walking tour of Montmartre started at 11am outside the station. It is very similar to the way it looks in the film, a lot more neon than expected. Make sure you take a... More

We had to try that because of the film. We didn't expect exciting food, on the contrary it was good and not expansive. Negative thing: there is not the tobacco corner... What a pity!

I visit here every time I visit Paris. And Last spring I walked by this place every day. This is something that means to me a lot. Place is quite similar that in the movie Amelie and the atmosphere is always crowded. But never mind, people are nice and young and maybe a little bit bohemian?

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
