We live just one street away from Juveniles, and would eat here most nights of the week if we wouldn't gain a quick 50 lbs. The food is mostly tapas style (get the Crostini 'Ron'!) with a few main plates. The appetizers are plenty for a meal if you get a few to share between two or more people. Very... More

Juvenils is a small cosy restaurant with a small but good wine list. Most of the wines are from France, and some from Italy and the new world. Among the wines from the world was Torbreck Juveniles, which the South Africa winery made for Juveniles, even though you can find it in other shops aswell. The service was splendid and the... More

Consistently high quality at least since the '90's. Thanks for the great memories. my only regret is that I never learned how to spell 'Castdanet', which is probably the only liquor I have actually missed since I quit drinking! More

While this place specializes in wine, don't neglect the food menu. The foie gras is one of our favourites in Paris and there are always a couple of great hot dishes. The cold platters and desserts could also make up a relaxed, very Parisian lunch ( despite the owner being Scottish!). Great selection of wines from all over and lovely... More

We went to Juveniles this evening in search of a nice glass of wine at an affordable price in a relaxed atmosphere. We found all of these at Juveniles. First of all, I appreciated the warm welcome extended to a non- French speaking visitor. The atmosphere was unpretentious but pleasant. There was a very nice selection of wines available by... More

I have been going to Juveniles for over 15 years now - I first discovered it when staying at the Hotel Moliere nearby and it is a very special place - I almost feel that I should n't mention it - selfishly, you feel if word gets out it will spoil its special appeal - great feeling, food unfussy but... We found this little restaurant in the rough guide and were not disappointed. The owner is a very friendly and interesting Scotsman who were very happy to chat to us about all sorts. It's clear that he's passionate about the food and wine, all done brilliantly. I would highly recommed anyone to wile away a few hours in this place. More

Located close to the Louvre and Palais Royal, this little wine bar serves up some delicious food and wine. My husband and I discovered this restaurant when we first came to Paris in 1996 and just had dinner their tonight, 13 years later. Not only are the food and wine delicious, but it is a good value as well. Tonight,... More

A friend and I headed here, after the Louvre and tourists, on a Saturday afternoon. What we found was an eclectic physical space, half wine store, half water-colour gallery, half bistro. Yes, 3 halves all meshed into one whole. And we stayed for hours, bridging the gap between the end of lunch and the prep for dinner. (And we weren't... More

Tim Johnston is amongst the best palates on that side of the Channel, so count on him to surprise you with his fab. and ecclectic selection of wines by the glass and clever classic french dishes - some of which come with with an Indo-Scott "je ne sais quoi" - makes a guaranteed fun dining experience in Parigi ... at...
