A friend and I headed here, after the Louvre and tourists, on a Saturday afternoon. What we found was an eclectic physical space, half wine store, half water-colour gallery, half bistro. Tim Johnston is amongst the best palates on that side of the Channel, so count on him to surprise you with his fab. and ecclectic selection of wines by the glass and clever classic french dishes - some of which come with with an Indo-Scott "je ne sais quoi" - makes a guaranteed fun dining experience in Parigi ... at... more

We had heard of Juveniles from a friend of Tim's (Hey Tim, Jock from Phoenix says "Hi"), and it was a very easy, pretty walk from the touristy points of the 1st Arrondissement. When you land at DeGaulle, hit your hotel and find out that your room's not ready till three, check your luggage and head for Juveniles for lunch.
