We went there on a saturday afternoon towards the end of the afternoon. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle although it was very busy. I recommend visiting if you are in the area otherwise it probably isnt worth the trip.

Parc Mountsouris in the 14th Arrondissement a gem of an English-style park. That is naturally landscaped like Central Park in New York or the Englischer Garten in Munich with large undulating expanses of lawn on which you can walk, sit, or play, giant trees not set in straight rows, and a generally natural look. It has a beautiful little lake... More

We spent a couple of hours here. Just a really nice peaceful oasis within the city. A nice variety of open areas, trails, ponds, etc. Some food available. We listened to a live band playing in the pavilion. It was all really nice.

My youngest loved playing in the kids section of the park. It is filled with a huge sandy area for digging, slides, climbing forts and also a miniature mountain range with a highway. We loved it!

A wonderful place to get away from all the noise of the city, this is a very well manicured park that has a mix of lakes, paths and at the right time of the year some beautiful flower beds.

Parc Montsouris is one of many public parks in Paris, but it certainly ranks as my favourite. Most other Paris parks are "jardins" or gardens, all trimmed and beautiful to see but not accessible to use as a resting area or picnic. Montsouris is different, it has a natural, free feeling to it, the rolling grassy hills offer many perfect... More

The Park is an exceptional example of a very good place to go for a picnic or to take children. It also has a restaurant. And you can easily visit Artribus - atelier-galerie, Mustapha Boutadjine, 68 rue Brillat-Savarin, 75013, Paris. It is very near to the park. When I was at Artribus it had the works of four Cuban plastic... More
