It would have been cheaper to travel between attractions by Metro but we would have missed out on the breathtaking views from the river. With a day ticket allowing hop on hop off travel until 7pm it was good value. The service was reliable with boats every 20 minutes and there was plenty of space. There is no commentary, but... More

I know it's not the most cost effective way to travel, I get that, BUT if you have beautiful weather and you're close to the Seine, this is how you should travel. We stayed in the 7th close to the Eiffel and we choose to travel with the Batobus because we had AMAZING weather and then every big monument you'd... More

There are 8 stops along the Seine, so you can hop on or off at the Musée d'Orsay, Eiffel Tower, St. Germain de Pres or Jardin du Plantes for example. It is a great way to rest your legs and still stay in tourist mode, snapping shots and rubber-necking at the sights. We got on at the Notre-Dame stop and... More

Hop on, hop off river boat bus. We were travelling with a 14month old so this was a great way to see Paris without too much walking. Boats were always on time & staff friendly. We bought a 2 day travel pass & under 2yrs are free.

Just like a bus but on the river. Great for an evening trip with al the buildings illuminated. The 2 day tickets are only slightly more expensive.

Two days in Paris and one of the highlights was traveling down the Seine on the Batobus which was not too overcrowded and very good value for a 2 day pass

Great way to get between sights in Paris by boat and see the lights at night. Being able to hop on and off at the major attractions was nice and not crowded. Would recommend this as a relaxing way to get around.

With four days in Paris, we found the best value was the 2-day Batobus ticket, with unlimited travel up and down the Seine. At just 9 Euro per day per person, it is an excellent value. We used the Batobus for our large family group, giving everyone the chance to set their own pace and hop on and off where... More
