The Batobus is a nice way to travel between major tourist sites in Paris. It is hop-on and hop-off so you can get on and off as many times as you like. You can buy a one or two day pass (depends on how long you are staying in Paris). The passes can be pricey (I forgot the cost) but... More

great way to get around the river areas of paris, pricey as you have to have a full day ticket but its hop on hop off as many times as you like. queues in hot weather were a bit of a bind with nowhere to hide. also no good if you want to go see the sacre coeur!

We used the Batobus, as it was linked to the Opentop Bus tour we had booked. we walked many miles before finding the well hidden embarking point. The boats are not frequent so we ended up in a very long, boring queue. The boat was very hot and packed with people, with the best chairs taken. It was hard to... More

We booked the Batobus after talking a walk down to the river front in Paris. We were looking for a hop on hop off boat tour. The Batobus is an open top river boat tour with 9 stops along the river seine stopping at major attractions. We purchased a one day pass by just walking up to a ticket booth... More

The tour is brilliant, passing along several attractions. It's a great way to visit them on a calm relaxing way. The Batobus allows you to hop on and off at several different locations, so you can visit other attractions and circulate between them in a relaxing way. It's also a great way to take several pictures. Even without a tourist... More

There's no commentary but there's a map of the stops on the wall. It would be nicer if there was outdoor seating. You can stand in the back but unless you're on the rail it's hard taking pictures. It's a traffic-free, cheap way to get to the sights, but not a route I'd take again.

We were only about 5 minutes into our ride when an elderly lady fainted, at least that is what we thought. Within minutes, a police boat arrived and the police came on board, some nurses were also on board and were tending to the woman too. Next came the paramedics, eventually the woman came too and they took her to... More

As our hotel was so close to the river Siene and my wife slightly claustrophobic about using the metro the Batobus stood out as an alternative form of transport . We had no regrets about this as we got a different perspective on Paris and much of the best architecture has great views from the river. The boats run every... More

Loved this cruise on the river Seine, beautiful weather, lovely sights. Took a huge amount of photos. I understand that you could hop off and hop on the boat but we opted for the round trip due to time constraints. Even though there is not a tourist guide on board they do tell you the basics at each stops what... More

Combined this with the L'Open Bus Tour. great way to see and travel around Paris and Seine. only issue is the stop at 'Jardin Des Plantes' which has been moved. the original is cleaner and feels safer. whilst the new one is in a very run down looking location with many homeless tents etc extremely near by. My wife did... More
