I tried the one in CDG Airport. The best macaroons I have ever tasted. Wow for all flavors. I am not sure how I never tried these before !

Long line. Pricey. BUT worth it. We only wanted to buy some macaroons so we got in line for the store on Champs Elysee. Which was packes. It tooks us around 45 min to get our macaroons. But it is an experience. You can choose your own box and the flavors you want. They organisation in the store is pretty... More

Delicious macaron can be found everywhere but if you want the original macaron, this is where you need to go. Book lunch and enjoy as they do more than just sweets! We had the Beef Tartare which was perfect and had a cappuccino to go with it. They warn you right at the start of dinner about the prevalence of... More

We went in here obviously for macaroons. The place is tiny and you have to get up every time someone wants to leave or move. My partner ordered an orange juice and for 8 euros you'd at least expect a full glass but it was only 1/3 full. The pastries we got were delicious but definitely not worth the final... More

Ridiculous treatment by staff on arrival, one started to walk us through to the dining room, then got fed up half way through and went to talk to colleague instead! We had to go back out to reception, were to be fair, the girl apologised as she thought her colleague was dealing with us. We said "so did we!" Weren't... More

A friend sent me on a wild goose chase on my first visit to Paris in 2011 to bring her back macarons from Laduree. But for this request, I think I would have avoided Champs-Elysees and its high-end stores altogether. However, after enduring a long queue just to enter, I was enthralled by the colorful display of confections. The trip... More

No one at the front desk to greet us, so we sat ourselves down. There were very few people in the café at the time, around 10h00 and no staff anywhere. When waiter arrived we got a strong whiff of disapproval. He asked if we had 'reported' at the desk first. No, we said. fifteen minutes before the menu arrived,... More

First of all I would say this restaurant is beautiful and the Macarons are the still the best I have tried. Also I would still probably recommend a visit to first time visitors to Paris. However, it now just feels like a complete tourist attraction that is constantly too busy and this has a big impact on service and just... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
