Ridiculous treatment by staff on arrival, one started to walk us through to the dining room, then got fed up half way through and went to talk to colleague instead! We had to go back out to reception, were to be fair, the girl apologised as she thought her colleague was dealing with us. We said "so did we!" Weren't... More

A friend sent me on a wild goose chase on my first visit to Paris in 2011 to bring her back macarons from Laduree. But for this request, I think I would have avoided Champs-Elysees and its high-end stores altogether. However, after enduring a long queue just to enter, I was enthralled by the colorful display of confections. The trip... More

No one at the front desk to greet us, so we sat ourselves down. There were very few people in the café at the time, around 10h00 and no staff anywhere. When waiter arrived we got a strong whiff of disapproval. He asked if we had 'reported' at the desk first. No, we said. fifteen minutes before the menu arrived,... More

First of all I would say this restaurant is beautiful and the Macarons are the still the best I have tried. Also I would still probably recommend a visit to first time visitors to Paris. However, it now just feels like a complete tourist attraction that is constantly too busy and this has a big impact on service and just... More

Laduree has a soft spot in my heart.. The building is absolutely beautiful and has left nothing out of the equation in respect of everything traditional French. Make a reservation, if you don't, be prepared to wait and don't make a face because you didn't give respect to where you decided last minute to eat. If you want the full... More

When a mouse runs across the dining room and under a table, regardless of the atmosphere and the food, the experience is ruined. To make it worse, the bus boy said it was normal, the hostess agreed and was indifferent, and the waitress said she was a little surprised because they exterminate daily. No accommodation was offered, but even if... More

I have tried many macaroons, all over, but nothing compares to LaDuree. I highly recommend trying the Cassis and Salted Caramel. They have a store at the airport, but only in terminal 1.

After hearing from almost every person I know who has visited Paris, ''You need to go to Laduree!!'', I knew I just had to visit. After seeing a line out the door to dine-in, my partner and I chose to just take some sweets away. The display was beautiful- stunning even and we wanted a piece of everything! After purchasing... We went to Laduree knowing it was kind of a "thing" but not really. There was a bit of a wait for a table of three, around 45 minutes. The restaurant is location in a prime location, right on the Champs D'Elysses, so it's central to get to and shopping is everywhere right outside the door. The food was mediocre... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
