After hearing from almost every person I know who has visited Paris, ''You need to go to Laduree!!'', I knew I just had to visit. After seeing a line out the door to dine-in, my partner and I chose to just take some sweets away. The display was beautiful- stunning even and we wanted a piece of everything! After purchasing... We went to Laduree knowing it was kind of a "thing" but not really. There was a bit of a wait for a table of three, around 45 minutes. The restaurant is location in a prime location, right on the Champs D'Elysses, so it's central to get to and shopping is everywhere right outside the door. The food was mediocre... More

We went to Paris in April and visited this establishment for one thing and one thing only - their World Famous Macaroons. Totally unlike what we call macaroons in this country but then the French people always were more advanced in many ways. Very French, very elegant and a wonderful delicious experience.

Sometimes the line can get long here, but the wait is so worth it for the most delicious macaroons! There is a large array of flavors to choose from, the only bad thing is they go bad fast. They say 3 days but I noticed a difference after just one day. So eat them fast! (Not hard to do).

Where to start, we love this place, we had an amazing lunch and decided to go back for brunch a few days later. We took the full-on version and it was amazing and a lot, we had to take the macarons home to eat later. Well worth the splash!

... which were damn good, but the line for it was also so long. Love the restaurant concept. Limited time when I was there, too bad I couldn't taste the restaurant.

Despite all the hype, this was a huge disappointment. The macarons were very bland and nothing like I had hoped for. Definitely not worth waiting in line for about 20 minutes. And €16 for 8 macarons. Ouch! Not worth your time and money.

Almost a macaron museum at Champs Elysees! Go early to avoid waiting lines, however, well Worth the wait anyway, as you can admire (and drool...) over the delicious pastries and cakes as you wait until you can buy your own to taste... Expensive, but exquisite taste that stays in your memory for a while, so well worth a try!

Ok their Macarons are good. Make it delicious. And it is a nice idea of a gift if you're invited somewhere. However, I believe the owners have marketed it all so well it is always, always full of people, mostly tourists, who are ready to pay a very indecent price for Macarons. Just because you're at Laduree, the Macarons are... More

we've visited Paris 3 times in the last 2 years and the last 2 times we've never been able to get in, 2012 it was closed for renovation, 2013 the queue was soooo long we refused to wait. However this year we walked straight in off the street (Champs Elysees). There's no denying the cakes are beautiful, however the service... More
