We stopped here whilst on a walking tour of Paris & had to return afterwards. We enjoyed a pot of tea each (I had the Bolero...yum) in a very ambient environment. Unfortunately we had already eaten and were not able to fit in the amazing looking cakes in their display. Maybe next time! Didn't disappoint.

This is our second trip to Paris and we found Mariage even better than our first trip. The staff was friendly and professional and the food was even better. And of course the tea is superb - a real treat.

If there is any kind if tea that you fancy, it has to be Mariage Freres. We are happy to be associated with them for supplying our very first produce for the season to them every year from Namring Upper and just love the dedication and passion with which they run their business.

Simply a Must while visiting Paris. Each visit I feel like I am transported to a wonderful zen area. The tea ia probably the best in the world and the design exquisite. The prices are more than reasonable in the tea salon given the amount of tea you get and the cakes are simply sublime.

We were lucky to have Martin of Paris by Martin take us by Mariage Freres to experience a quintessential French tea shop. Amazing aromas and displays. We are bringing some home AND will order more when we get home.

Went to Mariage Frères to buy tea for friends and, of course, for me. The very friendly staff helped me choose different types of teas (in addition to Marco Polo, their signature tea!) including their "rouge" teas, as in decaffeinated. Out came containers of teas so that I could smell the bouquet... A heady experience! I ended up not choosing... More

I have been a devotee of Mariage Freres since the 1990's on an earlier trip to France when I discovered it. It is the top of the line tea, and the tearoom is lovely. The packaging of the tea is great, and makes a great gift to bring back to friends. Recently while in Paris, my husband and I made... More

i just came across this museum and decided to visit it. small with only 2 rooms but with a nice display you could sper 10-15 min from your walk to enter. there is also a place where you can serve tea, and a little shop. prices were a little high if you ask me. the museum is free. although the... On every trip we bring back something the will remind us of our trip. From Paris we brought a beautiful red cast iron tea pot with matching support. The Mariage Freres shop was wonderful to browse - it was near our hotel we went browsing one day and went back to buy the tea pot and the third time to... More

we've been drinking casablance and marco polo for years now and if you haven't tried those, you really are missing out. the shop in the marais feels kind of overwhelming and pretentious. but it also feels mysterious and old world. so, you know, basically very french. :) it's fun. check it out.
