THATLou runs themed Treasure Hunts at the Louvre (what it stands for) for family travel & the general public. It gives you an overview of the world's greatest museum, getting you to corners you wouldn't otherwise go, making your visit FUN & focused. It's both educational + adrenalin-pumping, but you don't need to know a thing about art prior to the game! Also have THATRue (streets) + THATd'Or (Musee d'Orsay)

THE LOUVRE MUSEUM The Louvre is, quite simply, the finest museum in the world, and the one that experiences the very largest number of foot-falls each year – about 10 million. It has a total of over 350,000 works of art, of which only about a tenth are on display at any one time. The museum has more than 400... More

We had a great time on the THATLou treasure hunt. We did the Beauty and the Beastiary treasure hunt. We were met by our guide, Annie, just outside the entrance and quickly went inside (you have to buy the entrance tickets before hand and separately to the treasure hunt). We were paired against a lovely Swedish couple - Maria and... More

Had an excellent time doing the 'love' treasure hunt with my 63 year old mum. The resources were good and the hunt gives a sense of purpose to a visit to the Louvre which lets face it, can be a bit daunting. My mum got quite excited about finding the paintings and for a temporarily forgot about her poorly knee... More

We did the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay hunts with our 2 boys, ages 8 and 11, and had a blast! The first day we worked together at the Louvre and competed against another friendly family. As we were searching throughout the museum, my younger son said, after doing MANY activities he loved during our trip to London and Paris, that... More

Anyone with kids- or without- should seriously consider this fabulous way to see the Louvre! Lovely Daisy set us up with a series of wonderful clues and a competing team, and we were off! Two whirlwind hours of running amok into parts of the Louvre I frankly would not have gone to on my own, and that I was so... More

We wanted to take our kids (ages 13 and 9) to the Louvre but we thought that marching them around looking at art was not going to be a hit. We contacted Daisy who got back to us right away and set up our private treasure hunt. She was very helpful in getting us oriented to what we needed to... More

Our family had an amazing time with THATLou's scavenger hunt for Beauties and Beast(iary)! We split up into two groups of two (my husband with our 10 year old daughter and I with our 12 year old son) and the competition began! Two hours later we were all still so engaged that we decided we needed more time and HAD... More

I do not know where to begin explaining how much I loved THATLou's 'All Things Gaul' treasure hunt through the Louvre. My husband (not a museum lover) and I (a self-professed art history buffon) were on a European adventure with our two girls (17, 20) and our niece (16). We were visiting several of the not to be missed cities... More

This tour was really fantastic. Fun and educational and something our whole family thoroughly enjoyed. As my 12 year old son said when it was over, "I don't even really like art, and that was awesome!"

Our group of 11 women had a fabulous time hunting for treasures within the Musee d’Orsay for my sister’s bachelorette party. Realene did a wonderful job customizing our hunt with facts about the bride-to-be integrated into the clues. She provided so much information we could have easily hunted for hours but we were competing for prizes and had to make... More
