THATLou runs themed Treasure Hunts at the Louvre (what it stands for) for family travel & the general public. It gives you an overview of the world's greatest museum, getting you to corners you wouldn't otherwise go, making your visit FUN & focused. It's both educational + adrenalin-pumping, but you don't need to know a thing about art prior to the game! Also have THATRue (streets) + THATd'Or (Musee d'Orsay)

My boyfriend (25) and I (21) are in Paris for the first time, so naturally knew we needed to see the Louvre. In theory, we love the idea of museums, but in practice, how long can we really spend staring at miles of paintings and sculptures? In comes ThatLou. 30 "treasures" to find. Daisy suggested we give ourselves 2 hours... More

We contacted Daisy a few days in advance and she was very responsive and friendly. As a group with smaller kids (5, 7, and 9), we chose the animals themed treasure hunt as it seemed a better choice for kids. She definitely warned me that it might be a little much for kids in the 5-7 age range, but we... More

I would highly recommend booking a treasure hunt with ThatLou if you're going to visit Le Louvres with children. Ours - aged 9 and 12 - had a fantastic time there and actually got interested in quite a few paintings and sculptures thanks to the treasure hunt. Daisy is very friendly and helpful. It was well organized and we'd do... More

We had such fun searching for our treasures. What a brilliant way of seeing The Louvre. Well Done Daisy. We highly recommend it.

This is a great concept designed to make the participants see some of what Le Louvre has to offer with a degree of discipline and focus. Daisy's guidance at the outset was invaluable, and the idea of splitting our family into two groups to undertake a competitive treasure hunt is inspired. The hunt is a very clever way to inject... THATlou's scavenger hunt is a simple and fun way to introduce kids and families to the Louvre. The program guide, instructions, and THATlou guide person are all good. The guide person communicates with you before the event date, sending instructions and other info. On the day of, they meet you out front, provide a brief overview of the museum and... More

Having a tour like this to see the highlights of Louvre is so much fun, but unfortunately we were not very pleased with our tour guide. She tells you all the rules and gives you print outs including the summaries of all art pieces, which I think is really is great, but she never comes back to see who the... More

We were a family of eight. We divided into two groups: boys vs. girls. My wife was annoyed at first that we were turning art into competition. But it's the first time all of us have ever spent 90 minutes in a museum without getting "museum legs." The concept is simple: a list of paintings and sculptures you check off... More

Absolutely loved this. We were a family of four with two teen girls 15 and 13. Split ourselves into two teams. And met back at a fixed time. Saw areas of the Louvre which we wouldn't have otherwise. And with kids this really is the best way to do the Louvre. Did Beauty + Beastiary which was really nice. Daisy... More

We are a family of six with kids ranging in age from 13 to 9 - we split into two teams and spent around 3 hours at the Louvre. Our trail took us around parts of the museum away from the really busy parts. It was great fun and we all enjoyed it - great way to get kids into... More
