THATLou runs themed Treasure Hunts at the Louvre (what it stands for) for family travel & the general public. It gives you an overview of the world's greatest museum, getting you to corners you wouldn't otherwise go, making your visit FUN & focused. It's both educational + adrenalin-pumping, but you don't need to know a thing about art prior to the game! Also have THATRue (streets) + THATd'Or (Musee d'Orsay)

We are a family of six with kids ranging in age from 13 to 9 - we split into two teams and spent around 3 hours at the Louvre. Our trail took us around parts of the museum away from the really busy parts. It was great fun and we all enjoyed it - great way to get kids into... More

We are a family of 4 adults and 3 children ages 13 to 9 and we did the Beauty and Beast theme. Daisy was a pleasure to be with. She communicated clearly and promptly prior to the day and provided a comprehensive overview as well as details of the hunt on the day. We split into 2 groups and arranged... More

I found this site just googling kids' activities in Paris, and what a great find! Fast-paced, educational, and a great intro to the Museum. Our son is 10 and he was a perfect age to get introduced to the many parts of the museum and have fun at the same time. The treasure hunts imprint on kids because you have... More

Very fun. It was just my 10 year old daughter and I. It was such a fun way to explore the museum. Daisy takes time to orient you to the museum. Then, she has a good selection of art that makes for a great overview of the museum. You see all the "greatest hits", but also other interesting pieces that... More

Our family (including our daughters aged 9 & 14) ended-up spending four hours in the Louvre, and we all had a truly great time; Daisy's introduction was terrifically helpful, as was her suggestions for the museum and appreciating art. There is no chance that my family would have had nearly as much fun or appreciation for the museum without Daisy's... More

Wondering how to get your 11 & 8 year old boys engaged in art? Make it competitive! That is exactly what THATLou have done. Working in teams, you have to try to find as many 'treasures' (artworks) as you can and photograph yourself in front of them. You can get bonus points too - for example of you are brave... More

Our 9- and 11-years old kids were not looking forward to another museum, but we lured them with the prospect of a treasure hunt. To their surprise, they really had fun! We did 'Beauty and the Bestiary'. We also got a Kid Pack, which contained some things to do in the Louvre (although after the hunt they were sadly too... More

Incredibly disappointing. We arrived at the Louvre at 5pm to find a long line, cold/wet weather and NO ONE from ThatLou. Daisy claimed to be confused about the date, but made no effort to clarify despite two months of lead time. Clearly an amateurish operation. Don't risk your kids good time on this.

Hi Craig, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. As I told you on the phone as well as by email, we had 8 email exchanges concerning the date of Friday 13 February not Friday 13 March. This is easy to do on a date drop down menu, however I'm afraid we cannot take the blame when there... More

Living in Paris and having family over during the holidays I contacted Daisy to join a public Hunt, it was full so she created another time slot just for us!. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Those who live in Paris got to see parts of the Louvre they had not yet seen and the visiting ones had such a great... More

After a month of travelling and seeing museums, churches and historical sites we were getting worn out. Our trip to Musee d'Orsay had lasted only 1 1/2 hours before we tired out our 10yo! So, it was with some trepidation that we were heading to the Louvre. We made a last minute enquiry with Daisy online (late the night before... More
