they kicked out my girlfriend, just because she was tired and closed her eyes. She had done nothing wrong, just minding her own business. And they mocked us because we don't speak french?!! I guess the bodyguards only have power on young girls who weigh last than 100 lbs... I will never go again to this club. Save your 15... More

Not even sure where to start. I had quite high hopes for this establishment however it's not really great. Or at least the night we were there wasn't great. Crowd - mainly teenagers, Music - weird mix house to rnd to dub step to house again. It's also quite expensive 15EUR to get in, 8 EUR for a small bottle... More

We went there around midnight and it was kind of empty, wow after an hour the club was packed, music was really cool and at the night we were there Daniel Bell was playing. Only flaw are prices of the drinks, but this is minor for Paris night. We were luck to go there on a Saturday night as you... More

We were in paris for our honeymoon and got to check out Kai Alcé at the Rex club. Of course the music was on point, but the club was great. Big, decent priced drinks, and clean washrooms- what else do you want?

The manager would not let me and my friend in because "we didn't have a girl". Mind you we were in blazers and were not to dunk. We looked ten times better than he did. I work at a club in New York and we do not treat people like that.

Rex club is anything but underground, but what do you expect - your in france, this country is everything, but not well-known for his virbrant underground techno-scene.. if you're looking for a nice party here, you should definitely check the schedule in advance... ! the entrance-control was not too hard, it seemed that nearly everyone could enter (+) the crowd... What a terrible experience! I'd like to warn everyone about this before they spend their time and money coming to this establishment. We stood outisde in a 30 minute line (it was freezing outside) and once we got to the front of the line, we couldn't believe our eyes. The guy standing in front of us with two ladies was... More

We went here unplanned after a trip to the Muolin Rouge. It's expensive to get into however not a lot of tourists seem to go so it has a very 'French' feel to it. We ordered 2 double vodka and cokes and 2 sambuca shots and it came to €50! Was a good night though

Went here with two friends. Got stopped in the door since we didn't have any women with us. A big dissapointment. Went to Social Club instead and it was great. /clubber

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
