This was a terrific way to see the vastness of Versailles while keeping our kids (age 8 and 3) entertained and engaged. The stop at the covered market to pick up picnic supplies was an added bonus. The creperie recommended by our guide, Guillaume, is a must-try. It definitely made a lasting impression with the kids! And Guillaume's Comte cheese... More

We absolutely loved our day in Versailles with Letitia and Blue Bike Tours. It was such a nice way to visit Versailles, the bike really helped cover a lot of ground and the timing meant we avoided a lot of the crowds at the palace. Purchasing and then preparing your own picnic was really cute too. Letitia was a great... More

We enjoyed a wonderful bike tour of Paris "Secrets" - our guide Clairelou was very informative and fun, and the pace was just right.

The Blue Bike Tour was one of the best highlights of my Paris trip. Our guide Claire engaged us with her bubbly personality, great sense of humour and also good knowledge. The journey to Versailles took only about 20-25min by train (from St Lazare station), with return train fares included in the tour cost. The entire itinerary was a breeze,... More

This was the greatest way to experience Versailles. Our guide was Leila and she was amazing. I left my phone on the train to Versailles (I know, who does that, right?) and she was able to call my phone and talk to the lady who found it on the train. Leila and the staff at Blue Bike Tours being concerned... More

I've done bike tours in many other cities in the U.S. And Europe. By far this one has been my favorite - even despite the fact that it was >100 degrees Fahrenheit during the tour. Clairelou was our guide - a Parisian with very good English. She did a great job of explaining to us the sites were visiting without... More

My son (12 years old) and I took this bike tour on Sunday June 7. Our guide was Cecilia and she was excellent in every way. She was very kind and attentive to our needs. She even volunteered to take photos for all participants. We visited most of the famous sites in Paris including Eiffel Tower, Concorde Square, Notre Dame... More

My husband and I just completed a private customer Blue Bike Tour of Paris with Hava as our guide. As an important note, the bikes are in excellent condition with safety as first and foremost importance throughout the tour. Our tour guide made our trip interesting with detailed history and stories behind historical landmarks and areas. She also pointed out... More

With only two days in Paris and kids in tow ages 7, 11, 14 and 16, how do you see the most of the French capital? A Blue Bike Tour, of course! Olivia our guide was great, the group size was only 11, the tandem bike I rode with my 7 year-old was perfect, and cruising along the Seine was... More

We had a fantastic evening with Blue Bike tours during our vacation in Paris! Our tour guide Garonce was great. She was very informative along the ride and on the cruise! As part of the bike ride, we stopped at various points of interest and even had time for a traditional crepe before boarding the boat. I was a little... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
