Have you heard of Arago Parisian Meridian? If you are interested in discovering one small secret of this city, also walking through interesting places and to look like a fool taking selfies with the Arago plaques...this is a good start. We stumbled on this while walking towards the Catacombs. The gates are locked to the public, but it is worth looking in. Get a look at the sweeping second hand on the clock outside on the main building, and notice how it adjusts when it hits 12.

This is not an attraction in any sense of the word. You pass this on the way to the southern end of Jardin de Luxenbourg. You are not allowed entry and all you can see due to the high walls is the tip of the observatory. Not an attraction.
