We chose La Nouvelle Eve over the Moulin Rouge based on reviews on this site. Several reviewers who had seen both shows thought that La Nouvelle Eve had a better show at a better price. We attended the dinner show, which did not disappoint. The dinner was perfectly fine and the claims of "unlimited wine" turned out to be true.... More

This was our second visit to this show with a group, the last eight years ago. It was again a great night with one of our group up,on stage for a while which was a laugh. The food and service was good and the show fantastic with a great deal,of unexpected variety.

Dancing, comedy, audience participation, very nice dinner - it was the perfect ending to our trip. The additional acts aside from the dancers kept us laughing through most of the show. A definite must for an evening of fun! I would come see this show again as well as recommend it to family and friends. Do the dinner with the... More

So much fun. I have been to Moulin Rouge and this is so much better. A well rounded and entertaining night. All sorts of talented acts combined with dancers male and female. Audience participation was a highlight and hilarious. The three course meal and wine were excellent given the time constraints. Thoroughly entertaining and tasteful. Lost a point because some... I've been to Paris a number of times over the years and I've never been tempted to go to one of these cabaret type shows as I had a feeling it would be terrible, however after giving in to curiosity (some duress) I found that I was not wrong. I should have guessed how the night would turn out after... More

It was a great cabaret show while I was in Paris and having seen the movie Moulin Rouge and realizing the attending the actual Moulin Rouge would not be in my budget, this was a great alternative for me. Some of the acts had audience involvement and the time flew by, I was disappointed when the show ended. My sit... More

Saw the10:15 show tonight at La Nouvelle Eve. The acrobat/comedian and the jugglers were the best part of the night. The dance routines were entertaining and was exactly what was expected. The crowd at times was obnoxiously loud and the management did very little to quiet the 20 somethings who were drunk. If you can deal with that type of... More

Having a dance background I felt I had to see a cabaret show while I was in Paris and Moulin Rouge was not in my budget so I decided to try La Nouvelle Eve. I am so glad I did. The whole show was great and lots of fun! Along with the more classic caberet dances, there was a traditional... More

We saw this show and I believe that it is better one than others in the city. Trafalgar Tour Director really know the hidden gems of each city.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
