Having a dance background I felt I had to see a cabaret show while I was in Paris and Moulin Rouge was not in my budget so I decided to try La Nouvelle Eve. I am so glad I did. The whole show was great and lots of fun! Along with the more classic caberet dances, there was a traditional... More

We saw this show and I believe that it is better one than others in the city. Trafalgar Tour Director really know the hidden gems of each city.

I saw shows at both Moulin Rouge and here. The Can-can here is so much better, loved it! The rest of the big acts are about equal, but the "two pesron" filler acts are amazing at Moulin. Nouvelle is also much better priced as I didn't get dinner at Moulin and still paid about the same price for tickets. The... More

I have heard so many bad stories about Moulin Rouge that I was hoping to find a decent alternative. La Nouvelle Eve's Paris Je T'Aime Show is the answer! The theatre is small and intimate. The meal started promptly at 6:30 followed by the show at 8:00. The meal was very good and included unlimited wine. The waiters were friendly,... More

This place makes for an entertaining evening of great cabaret with food to match. The acts are fantastic and comprise a very good variety from comedians to circus style performances with traditional Parisian can can dances and a generous number of attractive half naked men and women in tasteful performances. I loved the high energy and was sorry to see... More

The cabaret was nice and the artists are talented. The audience, mainly very drunk young adults, horrifying. They spoke, moved around, slept at the tables etc. Not able to sit down for 1.5 hour show which cost at least 69 euro. The waiters/personnel seamed to be very very stresses and some of them were rude. They moved around the audience... More

A trip to Paris is not complete without a visit to a typical cabaret show. We were recommend to this show, with a glass of sparkling wine included in the price. Any drinks after this are expensive. Be prepared for costumer participation in the show.

The show was a pleasure from beginning to end, from the dance numbers to the jugglers and other acts in between. All of the performers are amazingly talented, and the show was great. I was a little nervous about the neighborhood of the venue, as it is in the "red light" district, but I felt perfectly safe walking to and... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
