This was an excellent tour. Learn about all the Black greats from Hannibal to Dumas to Josephine to Harlem 369! Madame Stevenson is absolutely amazing. She knows so much. Tour the city, hear great stories and settle down for dinner at the best West African restaurant!!! A must do.

I added an extra day to a work trip and took the full day tour on Friday, 25 September 2015, and I'm so glad I did! It happened to be a small group -- just me and two ladies from a different state -- and Ricki was our guide because another guide called in sick. It was fantastic. Ricki asked... More

Our guide Nawo was a lovely woman with a deep understanding of Paris black history. Her easy manner and gentle guidance brought us to many of the cities crucial locations - the Arc du Triomphe, the square of the Dumas three (grandfather, son and grandson), the Madeline cathedral, and several lovely shops. We traveled buses, the metro and walked for... More

I have been telling everyone about the Tour. On Oct. 27, 2015 there were only two participants which was very personal. Thanks for being available for those who care about... More

The food was... More

You can tour for 3/4 of the day or make it a day long. We did the 3/4 day and that was enough for us. Great tour of the places and contributions Black Americans made to France. Ask for THE best tour guide, Jerry Thompson, III. Knowledgeable, great sense of humor, focused and fun. Wear comfortable shoes. Buy your Metro/bus... More

The Black Paris tour was my first true understanding of how deeply Africans and Black Americans have shaped Paris and France. You don't get this kind of knowledge at any American school that I am aware of - unless you have a truly enlightened teacher. I am ashamed to say that I was greatly ignorant of a good many contributions... More

Spent a phenomenal day learning about the rich history of Blacks in Paris and France. The morning began in a quaint cafe, with a French breakfast, while we were given an overview of our days activities. Our tour guide Jerry was very knowledgeable, gracious and accommodating. My adult daughter and I were in Paris for one day only, en route... More

Prior to my arrival, Ms Stevenson provided me with a wealth of very valuable information from the best places for dining & entertainment to tips on French etiquette. On... More
