The best part of my trip to Paris was this tour! Plus, being a solo female traveler was already intimidating so I am glad I found a tour that catered to my interest. I initially signed up for the half day but decided to extend to the full day because I was having such a wonderful time! Madame Nawou was... More

My trip to Paris with my six girlfriends was magnificent. The Black Paris walking tour with Ricki Stevenson was exceptional! All about Paris was everything I have ever dreamed of and Ms. Stevenson enhanced our experience when she invited us to a private party. Oh so great, so enjoyable and memorable. I will return!!!!!

We started with a great conversation over breakfast and learned about basic French customs, then we were off to see the city on public transportation..ust... More

My best friend and I were the only two to participate in the tour, it was on a Tuesday in December. We came to Paris to celebrate her birthday.I didn't expect to learn so much from the tour. I think that in the media and on television we do not get a chance to see people of African descent in... More

"Inspiring!" As we toured the city of Paris, I was able to envision the commitment toward excellence of a prideful people who became exceptionally skilled in their crafts. While Ricki Stevenson's walking tour is fast moving, it is sooooo educational and pleasant.I truly enjoyed listening to her knowledge of the people and their gifts and appreciated her and her daughter's support... On October 17, 2014, I and a group of people from all over the US toured Paris with Ricki Stevenson as our guide on her "Black Paris Tour" that took us all over this beautiful city. BPTs really connected the dots of our knowing the names of great African-Americans who found refuge in Paris before our sojourne, with also revealing THEIR IMPORTANCE to Paris from aiding with the French Resistance, The French Air Corps, and the introduction of Jazz to name a few.
