I want to preface my review with the fact that I am a friend of Lisa's, and my Mum, sister & I did a private tour in October 2013. With that out of the way, I really enjoyed the tour and was so glad to have done it. I love walking in Paris, and there is so much to see... More

My 3 daughters and I took the tour during our first day in Paris - we really enjoyed the foods, and the shops, and Lisa provided a great introduction to Paris. We learned many things that were helpful to our trip, and we returned to St. Germain neighborhood for dinner and more shopping on a later date. The pace was... More

As a group of 5 we took a private tour of the food outlets of the Saint-Germaine area of Paris and loved every minute of it. Lisa Rankin is a very knowledgable and cordial host who told us about some of the history of the area which include the very old church of Saint-Germaine and the famous restaurant Deux Magots.... Flavors of Paris is a great way to go to specialty shops, and meet nice people along the way. Lisa is a wonderful guide: very knowledgable and friendly. There were only 4 people on the tour so we all got a chance to taste everything and ask lots of questions. We started with coffee and croissant at Eric Kayser, then... More

My partner and our two teenage kids toured the St. Germain section of Paris with Lisa and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We tasted our way through Lisa's favorites which included a Bakery, Specialty Food shop, Tapenade/Olive Oil shop, Chocolate shop, Ice Cream/Sorbet cart and a Cafe where we enjoyed some lovely French wine, cheese & meat plates. Lisa is extremely... More

We booked the Flavors of Paris Walking Tour (dessert-themed) with Lisa after reading positive reviews on Trip Advisor, and it was a definite highlight of our trip to Paris. The weather was beautiful during our tour as we walked around the gorgeous St. Germain neighborhood. It ended up being just me, my husband, and Lisa on the tour, which was... More

My wife and I have done several Food Tours in the past and were really looking forward to this experience in Paris. Lisa was a great host and provided some knowledgeable bits of information about certain restaurants and frequented them. The tour felt more like going around to shops with free samples. We didn't feel like we saw enough stores... More

Thanks so much for your review of our Original Tour . We are a little concerned that you felt that it was a matter of just taking free samples at the shops. We actually contact the shops we visit ahead of time so they may prepare for our visits. For example, the owner at the little, French fine food boutique... More

We loved the walking food tour with Lisa. Even though the weather wasn't the best on the day of our tour, we still had a good time walk tasting our way through parts of St Germain. From pâté to bread, chocolates to cheese, we loved the sessions at each shop. Apart from knowing where some of the best shops are,... More

TL:DR version - Very educational and great value. You won't leave hungry as there's lots to try, taste and eat. Friendly and knowledgeable guides make it fun and interesting. You won't regret it so just book the tour now! Longer version - The gods must have smiled on us 3 times on this tour. First of all, it had been... More

Didn't give up thought. Our guide was not the usual one and he tried hard, but didn't know the answers to all the questions that my school teacher friend asked. First part talking about the church could be skipped - we were there for gourmet stuff. Not too much gourmet products on offer - but good for a first time... More
