The japanese staff who served us was patient and friendly. I have been to 2 chanel stores, 1 at the departmental store and noticed that they tend to be discriminating towards Asians. When I was just enquiring about something, the sales staff will get uptight and say: 'talk to your sales person' in a rude tone. When I want to... More

My initial thought was to buy 2 bags at the Louis Vuitton store but I'm glad I changed my mind and stopped by Chanel, was assisted by Lola and loved the experience, me and my husband were offered water while Lola showed us a selection of bags, I eventually decided on a classic flap bag, Lola also showed us around... My wife and I visited the house of Chanel as I was informed is the place where the famous designer lived. As a walk up customer you don't really see the house on the exception of the steps but my wife was pretty excited to be in the flagship store. Worth the walk. Fun to see.

After reading reviews from different sources, my wife and I were prepared for anything short of the staff at the Chanel "mothership" throwing tomatoes at us for being so audacious as to approach. However, we found the entire staff, from doorman to clerk to security to check out to be gracious and professional. This was BEFORE we showed any intention... More

I visited THE Chanel botique on Rue Cambon to satisfy my curiosity and to pick up some make-up, rather than handbags or clothing. Despite that, I experienced no snobbery here. In fact, I was made to feel special! In the end, my small purchases were wrapped and bagged in the white Chanel bag with care, complete with white camelia. I... More

I had always wanted to visit 31, Rue Cambon, the iconic and historic birthplace of Chanel. After not being able to have the courage to enter the store when I was in Paris last year (for fear of impulsive buying when I was supposed to be on a tight budget),I decided to drop by during a long layover in Paris... A trip to Paris would not be complete without a visit to Chanel at 31 rue Cambon. Sales staff were amazing. A truly wonderful shopping experience!!!

I read the reviews here before going on my trip. It helped me a lot, I didn't know there where so many different locations. I wanted to have the ultimate experience when buying the bag I targeted beforehand. We where lucky there was no waiting outside the store on rue Cambone. Inside the store where lot of customers and we... More

I was there for shopping trip with a girl friend. Queued outside for about 45mins before our turn. Super nice and patient SA. We were offered champagne and water while we wait for our items being packaged.

This was my first time in Chanel in Paris. I came with an idea of what I specifically wanted to look at to buy, and had money to make a significant purchase. I came and let them know what I wanted to see (hair combs from the Dubai collection) and they brought them out. While I was deciding, they offered... More
