Ok so I live for chocolate. Hence I am a total chocolate snob. George L's on St. Germain in the 6th is a elegant confectionary heaven for candy and chocolate lovers alike. As for the good: love the elegant store design and candy for self serve in quaint bins with the premium selections and mostly the macarons behind the glass... More

Yes, the chocolates are quite good and the cookies are quite nice; but what makes this good-sized store special is the ability to serve yourself....and when "playing in a chocolate store," isn't that a great idea? If you do need help or have questions, their staff is very good...patient to help and totally knowledgable about their products and ingredients. It's... More

Was recommended to try this beautiful chocolatier by a friend. And I am soo glad i did. With an amazing Chocolate Notre dame in the middle the sight is beautiful. French chocolatarie art at its best! The dark chocolate melt with cream and biscotti was out of this world. Tried their macaron, and a few patisserie.. all were just a... More

We visited the Sacre Coeur and on our way to find a taxi, we came across this place. We didn't think the standard would be high as it was in a very touristy area. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The chocolate chip cookies were fab and the chocolate almond clusters were also a delight. I will need to come back,... More

I can say that I truly enjoyed this shop very much. First of all it's very beautiful from design sight. and its's definitely the best macaroons I've ever tried. Price is also acceptable, especially for Paris.

Whenever I go to Paris I get macarons there. They are absolutely delicious and reasonably priced (1 euro a piece if you get a box of them and a little less if you buy them individually). This year I was actually able to buy a box to bring back with me because it wasn't as hot as it was last... More

We were in Paris for Father's Day and wanted to add a little something to the cards for my husband and brother-in-law. We had seen this shop in passing and it looked amazing. The chocolates are in bins around the shop and you get to self serve, which was quite fun, and if you want to select different candies, easier... More

I've been a fan of Kouign Amann since being introduced to them here in the USA to those made by a bakery in Salt Lake city called Les Madeleine (I will review also). So I was so excited to be in the country where they come from! The ones from here did not disappoint..... small, but dense and oh, so... More

A friend recommended this place. It is fantastic. We visited twice in our 9 days in Paris. The store is easy to navigate for non-French speakers and the employees were happy to speak English when asked politely if they did. I would highly recommend this shop. There were other chocolatiers that we visited our neighborhood but too confusing without the... More
