Good chocolat. Nothing exceptional but good. The service is very french. Snobnish, unwelcoming and do not expect a smile or guidance. Do not smile either or this will be consider as a sign of weakness by the guy behind the counter. ...

Wonderful quinettes (get the caramel before they run out), caramels, and macarons. So reasonably priced and delicious. My partner and I decided that the macarons are rivals for another very famous Parisian macaron producer! I bought lots of caramels to take home as they will make lovely gifts.

Affordable and very tasty chocolate shop. You buy by the gram and can get as little or as much as you want. I spent a week in Paris and found myself coming here for my afternoon treat three different days, which I'm borderline ashamed about but it was that good. Macaroons available too. Good place to get a gift.

Awesome Chocolate Store! Wonderful large displays of several assortments of chocolate! Visited this store after we visited the Basilique Dusacre-Coeur on our way to the Moulin Rouge. The hot chocolate is to die for! Stop by, you will not be disappointed!

Located right opposite my hotel, so quickly stopped in to buy gifts. Their macaroons were the best ones I've ever tasted and they do really cute jars of salted caramel sauce.

wonderful salted caramel in a cute little reusable jar and delectable individual caramels with no chalkiness or grainy texture you get from 95% of retail caramels. That's all I tried but judging from the crowd that lined up to the cashiers I'm confident they are delivering on all other goodies too

My family and I were stunned by the array of delicious offerings at Georges Larnicol. We tried quite a few excellent items. The self-serve nature of the shop is appealing. While some have touted the virtues of their macaroons, I'd suggest sticking to the chocolates, caramels, and various pastries. I was especially partial to the mini kouign amann pastries. They... Kouign annan...rich buttery goodness in about 8 different flavours. Be forewarned, these babies are addictive!

Ok so I live for chocolate. Hence I am a total chocolate snob. George L's on St. Germain in the 6th is a elegant confectionary heaven for candy and chocolate lovers alike. As for the good: love the elegant store design and candy for self serve in quaint bins with the premium selections and mostly the macarons behind the glass... More

Yes, the chocolates are quite good and the cookies are quite nice; but what makes this good-sized store special is the ability to serve yourself....and when "playing in a chocolate store," isn't that a great idea? If you do need help or have questions, their staff is very good...patient to help and totally knowledgable about their products and ingredients. It's... More
