We were in Paris for Father's Day and wanted to add a little something to the cards for my husband and brother-in-law. We had seen this shop in passing and it looked amazing. The chocolates are in bins around the shop and you get to self serve, which was quite fun, and if you want to select different candies, easier... More

I've been a fan of Kouign Amann since being introduced to them here in the USA to those made by a bakery in Salt Lake city called Les Madeleine (I will review also). So I was so excited to be in the country where they come from! The ones from here did not disappoint..... small, but dense and oh, so... More

A friend recommended this place. It is fantastic. We visited twice in our 9 days in Paris. The store is easy to navigate for non-French speakers and the employees were happy to speak English when asked politely if they did. I would highly recommend this shop. There were other chocolatiers that we visited our neighborhood but too confusing without the... More

We stumbled on this place and were so impressed. Everything was fabulous but the kouignettes were beyond that. The macaroons were fab too but . . . I was having kouignettes for breakfast. Yummy. Brought some home for my husband the sweet freak. He wolfed them down.

Happened upon this MOF chocolatier and patisserie near Notre Dame. Unbelievable!! Everything we were able to try was incredible - the Kourginettes, macarons, caramels and some of the chocolates. Wish I could have tried everything. If you enjoy sweets, you do not want to miss out on these.

We visited two of the stores on our visit to Paris in April one near Notre dame and one near Sacre Coeur which was my favourite and am unfortunately only getting round to reviewing it now. First one we discovered was the one by Notre Dame a tiny little thing hiding amongst lots of alleys and restaurants we discovered it... More

At last, a chocolate shop that you don't feel short changed in!! Popped into the shop at Montmartre whilst running for the tube - really wish I could have spent longer to experience the wide collection of delights available. The shop is well laid out and has everything including macaroons, pastries, truffles, slabs of chocolate, whole host of chocolates and... More

The kouignettes are amazing (especially the chocolate one). The macarons are ok. The chocolates I had were "eh". Overall, it's an impressive store to browse, with some cool chocolate sculptures.

Disappointing macarons. Even the recommended salted caramel ones weren't very nice. Maybe the chocolates are better?
