This was our first macaron experience after our arrival in Paris. We stumbled upon this location after touring Notre Dame; in the beautiful historic district. We purchased several chocolates and a few select macarons - and they were definitely good! Were the macarons the best we had in all of Paris - no... but it was a great stop and... More

This place is filled with amazing chocolates of all flavours. They also sell some pastries and macarons. You can pick and choose the different types of chocolate or pastries. I had 2 pieces of chocolate and they were heavenly. There are also some master piece chocolate sculptures that are remarkable and amazing to look at.

My sister and I stumbled upon this chocolate shop after lunch and I'm sure glad we did! These chocolates are delicious with a wide assortment of milk, white, and dark chocolate as well as all the fixings. I also picked up a few caramels. For the quality of this chocolate it is very reasonably priced. Also a great place to... More

It's a sticky, sweet layered delight and something I now get every time I am in this shop. The "natural" is my favorite by far. There are all kinds of chocolates to choose from (even in interesting and festive shapes and forms), but the milk squares with toffee are still my favorite. The value is good for the quality, but... Chocalate is realy amaizing, 100g is 5€. I also bought it as gift to my friends they loved it. Macaroons are propably the cheapest that you will find in Paris. You can buy it in box of 8pieces (8€), 16 pieces (16€), 25 (25€) or you can choose flavour but in plastic bag 100g is 5€, but they will propably... More

We just happened to be walking along boulevard Saint-Germaine after visiting Musée de Cluny, window shopping and enjoying the sights and sounds of this busy street when we happened upon this little shop with it's beautiful window displays. We selected some sweets to take home with us that day and we so enjoyed everything we sampled that we made a... More

What a great chocolate and sweets shop. We have visited the one in Paris as well as one in the Normandy area. Lots to shoes from and each one we picked was very good. Service was very friendly at each location and prices were quite reasonable considering what a fine product this is. We will be back before this trip... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
