We found this shop by accident as we returned from Sacre Couer and decided to take a look. The displays were very nice, especially the model of Notre Dame made entirely of chocolate ! In the end we purchased a few macaroons and some other items which were very nice !

This is the most stunning chocolate shop I've ever seen! The chocolate and variations taste are incredible as is the presentation. This is a definite must-see. The service is just as any French shop. Just make sure you say the magic words "Bon Jour Madame." Must see this one.

Good chocolat. Nothing exceptional but good. The service is very french. Snobnish, unwelcoming and do not expect a smile or guidance. Do not smile either or this will be consider as a sign of weakness by the guy behind the counter. ...

Wonderful quinettes (get the caramel before they run out), caramels, and macarons. So reasonably priced and delicious. My partner and I decided that the macarons are rivals for another very famous Parisian macaron producer! I bought lots of caramels to take home as they will make lovely gifts.

Affordable and very tasty chocolate shop. You buy by the gram and can get as little or as much as you want. I spent a week in Paris and found myself coming here for my afternoon treat three different days, which I'm borderline ashamed about but it was that good. Macaroons available too. Good place to get a gift.

Awesome Chocolate Store! Wonderful large displays of several assortments of chocolate! Visited this store after we visited the Basilique Dusacre-Coeur on our way to the Moulin Rouge. The hot chocolate is to die for! Stop by, you will not be disappointed!

Located right opposite my hotel, so quickly stopped in to buy gifts. Their macaroons were the best ones I've ever tasted and they do really cute jars of salted caramel sauce.

wonderful salted caramel in a cute little reusable jar and delectable individual caramels with no chalkiness or grainy texture you get from 95% of retail caramels. That's all I tried but judging from the crowd that lined up to the cashiers I'm confident they are delivering on all other goodies too

My family and I were stunned by the array of delicious offerings at Georges Larnicol. We tried quite a few excellent items. The self-serve nature of the shop is appealing. While some have touted the virtues of their macaroons, I'd suggest sticking to the chocolates, caramels, and various pastries. I was especially partial to the mini kouign amann pastries. They... Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
